Just leave her alone. Someone's private life and health issues should not be up for grabs, then to be plastered all over internet/media etc. Then rumours/speculation occurs. Just remember it's none of your business! ask yourself " would I like it if my private business was broadcast everywhere?"

I'm afraid to say no matter how many laws are in place for everything, people will/and do consistently break them. For example, how many people get caught drink driving each day? Despite laws in place to deter this people still drink and drive.
