Water cremation mishap raises questions about new funeral method

I told my son to just bury my ashes somewhere on his property. I'm sure he can find a spot somewhere on his 120 acres, lol.

Not for me. But to each his own. Funerals are already astronomically expensive without paying thousands more.

Time’s up for dodgy property guides! How homebuyers use AI to spot underquoting

For years agents have been under quoting and overquoting. It is always wise to get at keast three appraisals on your home. If the agent is aware they are the only agent you are approaching they will often underquote in order to get a quick sale. On the other hand, if they are aware that you are...

The hidden road perk that could save you hundreds—and most Aussie drivers had no idea

I'm happier to have no toll roads, as here in Perth. I have RAC roadside assistance, which I've had to use on a few occasions over the years. Obviously people in states with toll roads would still need to have to pay for roadside assistance to cover them when not on a toll road.

The ‘silent superbug’ that’s got health experts worried–and why it matters to every Australian family

Why don't you try reading some scientific literature instead of Dr Suess's Book of Mysterious laboratory created diseases. Sounds like you've also been reading the Beginners Manual of Conspiracy Theories. There's some really good literature out there if you're really interested in finding it...

Centrelink moves to clear confusion over supposed bonus payouts

These articles come up on Google all the time. My question is why do Google allow them to keep being posted when they are obviously incorrect . If they are actually not from Services Australia then they shouldn't be posted.

Good evening, Sorry about the late reply. I'm actually in Wagin. WA but I am getting my batteries from Sunboost who are actually based in NSW. I did get a good deal from them as I bought my panels from them, but can't see why you couldn't get the same deal. Worth a try. I got a 20kw battery set...

Qualified seniors are getting rejected from energy loans by government—what's happening?

Well I've been a taxpayer all my life, so I'm happy to get the rebate. My solar system was $3,199 and my 20kw battery $6,650, so just under $10,000. My son has the same. They are a family of 5 and have no bills. As there is only me and my daughter, we should get a payback each year. I used...

Qualified seniors are getting rejected from energy loans by government—what's happening?

I don't know about that. My power bills have been negligible for years. My step daughter thought the same as you, but she wasn't using them properly.

21 KMD stores are closing, but they promise a revamp that could change Aussie retail forever

Agree, me neither. I can just hear them all screaming. Stiff bickies. Have taken my chances with property over the years, which worked out OK, but I know nothing about shares and at my age not prepared to take the risk. I'll stick with bank interest from here on.

Are you being overcharged? This council error cost residents over $10 million!

Most people are too lazy to do that. They prefer to just whinge and expect somebody else to fix the problem.
