Say goodbye to cords! Here’s why more Aussies are switching to 5G home internet

I changed to 5G 18 months ago, and, no problems, If I need to re-start the system, as I do occasionally, it is way faster than NBN was. I changed when my provider, iiNet, contacted me to suggest I change. It ended up $10 cheaper, and, they provided to 5G receiver free. Very happy with that decision.

Every bride’s worst nightmare: Her hair was meant to be wedding-ready—then everything went wrong

Did they blindfold her while sitting in front of the mirror. It takes one word...STOP! to halt proceedings. Maybe stay off the phone and keep an eye on what is going on.

You won’t believe the shocking message these elderly women found on their restaurant bill in New York

This screams of training slackness. It should not have gotten to that point. In any organisation, it's the role and responsibility for management to train team members and make it very clear that disrespect and rudeness are grounds for disciplinary action. In a land where so many rely on tips to...

You won’t believe what this skin cancer doctor found—could you spot a melanoma that doesn’t look like a mole?

My husband had what looked like a wart on the back of his knee. It was diagnosed level 3 melanoma. 2 major operations, immunotherapy, radiation and 2 years later he was gone. It's a mongrel of a thing that is determined to get at you no matter what. My John had cancer screenings every year for...

A plane, a reclined seat, and a full-blown standoff—does this mum deserve praise or a reality check?

I gave this story my attention until I saw the word blogger. Say no more.

Frustrated by confusing takeaway menus? This might explain what’s really going on

Me too. If I can't cook it myself, or go out and sit at a table, it has no chance of being my meal.

Older Aussies may have a new secret weapon against dementia…and it has paws!

My Bonnie and Clyde have helped me through a lot of sad times in their short 12 months. Every day, they do something that makes me smile. Latest thing...I witnessed them side winding down the hallway whilst chomping down on to each others' ear. Hilarious. I have to have my senses about me well...

She stood by his side for 59 years—now Dolly’s showing us what real love looks like after loss

I hope the vultures don't circle and give her the time to grieve in peace. Time to heal Miss Dolly.

    Endoscopy for Beginners

Thanks Nichola. Chloe is gorgeous, be it a compulsive shopper. The process of a colonoscopy is for no faint hearted person. That drink sent me to a world that I never knew existed. I agree. The sleep whilst under the twilight zone drugs is a bonus to make up for all the misery the days...

AHPRA takes action against more than 50 practitioners in medicinal cannabis crackdown

My niece is managing to still get around, and work, whilst being prescribed medical cannabis. It is not smoked or injected. Her use is purely through cooked items like brownies or cookies. Cancer resulted in a total hysterectomy, bowel colectomy, bladder cystectomy, and, has a tube permanently...

Good News You Might Have Missed

Love these snippets of interest. The murals I see in my town and surrounding suburbs are always well received. I am amazed at the talent that's cruising about out there. How about those Roman clown shoes. .... and the list goes on.

Woolies shoppers stunned by outrageous chicken prices

I'm with you. I changed to cooking my own ages ago, and, the Macro range is usually well priced. The fresh chickens vary so much in price, it's always a good idea to look at the whole range. Sometimes their specials are worthy of stocking up.

Risk of surprise $140 fine? Sneaky sign change catching drivers off guard

I guess the parking inspectors were not available for the photo shoot, didn't comb their eyebrows, get their hair coloured, put their make up on, or, who cares.

Nine valuable guitars stolen from music legend Joe Camilleri's Kyneton home

For Joe it must have been like having his heart ripped out. The thought that those dead beats were probably lurking and waiting for the moment to swoop would have been immensely distressing for him. I hope the SWAT team catches up with them and gives them a taste of what loss is really like.

Lost inheritance? Why millions in unclaimed estates end up with the government

Get straight on to the banking thing. My brother in law had a similar situation. When his wife passed, he went in to draw money out for the funeral only to find all accounts were frozen. That's what happens once the wheels start turning. It doesn't take much to sort it out once you both get...
