Would you be OK with your parcel being tossed like this?

My experience with Aus Post deliveries is absolutely 100% positive. The couple who deliver our parcels are perfect. They are delivered to our door, the deliverer sings out 'parcel', hits the doorbell/camera and even calls me by name when delivering.

Tradies rush to snag $59 tool at Bunnings as demand soars

I can't wear anything that sits so high in the neckline. Is there another way to support this cause?

Social media trend sparks unexpected supermarket shortage: 'Are we joking?'

Not to mention cooking cream. It's getting very hard to source and some supermarket staff have either not heard of it, or have no idea where to find it. Sad when the big supermarkets let you down and you have to finish your shopping at the local IGA. It used to be the other way around.

‘I said no’: New AI requests put pressure on Aussie GPs. Here’s why it matters to you.

AI my arse. Absolutely no need for this. If it's for a doctor to review their notes/consultation, surely a simple (and local) recording would do? It could then be erased at the patient's request.

You’ve queued at post offices for decades—now they’re finally listening to your feedback

No chance and no need. Our local post office is also a newsagent, lottery office and general store, as are most in our region. Live outside a city? Juzt adjust your expectations.

China’s unconventional ute draws curiosity as launch looms in Australia

I wonder how many people (besides the ones I know) are now very cautious about buying Chinese made 'rugged' vehicles? Most here have so far failed to live up to expectations.

It’s not too late to save using cash—but time is running out!

So it's going to be impossible to buy your grandies a second hand 'anything' as I do, just to see if they lose interest quickly? I always do this with bigger ticket items before spending a lot more on the new item. And bugger the poor guys who just have to unload some belongings just to feed the...

    Paid work?

I guess it depends on things like where you live, population etc. Where I am there are always ads outside shops, cafes etc looking for casual staff.

Lawsuit reveals widespread misconduct at major lender, puts home loans at risk

There's a hell of a difference between being a little creative on a personal reference and outright lying about financial competence. Glad you could see the difference. Pity they didn't listen and learn.

    Joke Did you paint that??

My dad would have loved this. His sympathy was always with the poor old coyote.

Too good to be legal? Kmart’s $5 car fix under scrutiny

I bought a silicine munchy tray in kmart. It cost 10cents, fits over the top of those large drink cups with the smaller bottom half that fit in your cup holder. I use it in the rear seat, it limits the amount of consumptiom and mess of the younger grandkids.

Sick of dodgy deliveries? This one went to the dog—literally!

My dog never goes outside the front door without me, but she loves to dreet the delivery lady through the screen. As she's still a puppy, we've not seen her treat anything at her/ground level with respect. That's too much to ask of your little buddy.

Frustrated by confusing takeaway menus? This might explain what’s really going on

Thankful to live in a revional area. Though we have very few delivery options, the ones we do have are usually delivered by a family member of the business operator.

Older Aussies may have a new secret weapon against dementia…and it has paws!

I don't know about helping with brain function, but boy does my puppy make me laugh. She is a natural 'alternative' medication that I can happily recomend to everyone. The 'side effects' can easily be cleaned up until she's house trained. 😉

Facing a Croc Attack? This Dangerous Act Could Cost You $12,900 - Find Out What NOT To Do!

Pity about the wording at the start of this article. If I remember correctly, the victim was not guilty of feeding the crocs. It takes until the 2nd last paragraph for a mention of a go-fund and community support for the victim's family. Surely this would have been more important than tying the...

New scam outsmarts security measures—what every Aussie should know

I've never had a genuine message from either dept and don't expect to, therefore all such communications are treated as a scam/spam.

Experts say this is the worst place to store your spices—and it's probably in your pantry

I found a $19 rack in kmart. It has 2 wire baskets the pull out, sits neatly on a pantry cupboard shelf, and doesn't contribute to the clutter in the kitchen and on/around the bench space. I actually have 4 of them. 2 different depth baskets make it easy to store condiments, sauces, herbs and...
