Would you pay for telly bills that cost more than a run to the supermarket? Here's what Apple's latest price hike means for your budget

Likewise, never have and never will. There are enough tv programs to keep me happy znd rarely watch programs on the smart tv but one day. If people cancelled their subscriptions with the cost of living crisis they might get the picture and bring them back down. Just bloody rude in my opinion.

Would you declare flowers at customs? THIS actress didn’t and paid a $2,000 price

I do the same and have everything handy for them to look at that may be a problem, lollies from NZ or wood things etc. Have never had tomoay, dispose but always let them know and usually write on the customs card and just get waved through.

Thank goodness I am capable of still going and choosing my own fruit and vegetables but for those that are unable to this will be a big help.

Twin super fund collapses leave 12,000 Australians $1.2 billion poorer—and it could happen to anyone

Gosh this must be absolutely devastating for the many people caught up in this and it shows just how easy it must be if so many people have been mislead. God you would want to shoot the people responsible for the ruining of so many people's lives but that is too good for them.

When shopping trolleys become dog beds: Great supermarket pet debate rages on

I agree I would be horrified if I thought a dog or other animal had been sitting where I was putting my food wrapped or otherwise. Not appropriate at all.

Why your grandkids are now loving the 'daggy' store you never expected to see again

Sometimes they have great stuff and other times not so much at least to my taste. Always buy when it is on special as it has got very expensive. Did not realise it was linked to Suzanne Grae. They are really the only 2 ladies mid shops around now. Everyone else has closed.

ALDI shoppers are divided over tap-and-go fees—where do you stand?

Some eftpos machines are so different to others that by the time you are trying to work out where to insert the damn thing its tapped your card without you knowing it and I find that very annoying as I insert as a rule. Shouldn't be allowed to do that. Your card, your option. It may only be a...

The silver gig: Why thousands of Aussie seniors are trading retirement dreams for delivery bags

It's a shame Australia doesn't model itself on NZ. You wonder how they can do what they do yet Australia has to take into account every cent you have and penalise you for it. It beggars belief really.

Aussies are loving this $200 McDonald’s drive-thru hack to avoid ATM fees

I mostly get my cash out from The supermarkets as I feel it is the safest place to do so. And I know alot of you don't like using them but easiest at the self seve check outs. They have more money than the manned checkouts.

Here's the supermarket Aussies no longer trust—and the stores winning big

But they are all closing branches so it really is just choosing the best of a bad bunch really.

Your final $75 electricity lifeline arrives in October—just as power prices surge up to 10 per cent

This is from the federal government not the state government. No the state government with all the surplus does not want to spend it on what the voters want but on what the premier and treasurer think we should have. I hope a lot more people think more than twice about voting fkr them next...

Upgrades to WA public transport payment system due online by end of year

I agree, they are very good at spending the tax payers millions without any consultation for most of their schemes. So long as they like them it is good enough to go ahead but that is not how it is meant to work and there is such a lack of transparency in alot of their costings especially when...

Here's the supermarket Aussies no longer trust—and the stores winning big

I am not surprised to hear Woolworths has tumbled so far. I was surprised to hear CBA was the best of the banks though but they have all been pretty disappointing.

Upgrades to WA public transport payment system due online by end of year

And if they remove the smart rider what about seniors etc who can travel for free, how does thst work. I don't use my phone to pay for anything so it's no damn good to me.

When every dollar counts: How grocery prices are forcing tough choices for Australian seniors

It makes you wonder where it is all going to end as all your normal weekly buys just keep going up. Things that have been on a price drop have stopped and now they are $2.00 more expensive, it is ridiculous.
