As much as I empathise with his situation, really? You transferred money without checking details? Particularly the death of your cousin? Red flag: Euros in the Phillipines? Some baby boomers might be money rich, but they are certainly dumb.

I think the time has come for companies to teach their staff some people skills. Respect and politeness have been lost since covid as it seems to have given people the right to be rude, demanding and above all power hungry.

It never ceases to amaze my that all respiratory infections now have "covid like" symptoms. Pre covid there were chest infections just known as chest infections. These day they now have a name, e.g. mycoplasma pneumonia. How about going back to calling it the flu?
