Welfare boost on the horizon: Treasurer hints at significant increase ahead of federal budget

I agree with you 100%. There are so many bitter, twisted and nasty people here who automatically believe the rhetoric about people on Jobseeker being "dole bludgers", and they seem to forget when you point a finger at someone there are three fingers pointing back at you! They have no empathy and...

Welfare boost on the horizon: Treasurer hints at significant increase ahead of federal budget

Your pension only drops if you have an increase in your income or assets and for it to drop that much you must have increased one or the other by a large amount!

Shoppers weigh in on Coles’ new eco-friendly initiative—is it worth its double price tag?

I wish there were fatty parts on the meat! They overtrim it these days and you are lucky to get any fat at all.

Pro-cash movement calls for nationwide boycott of Coles and Woolworths

What a vile, selfish and nasty thing to do! What do you think happens to that food? It is THROWN AWAY if there are any meat, dairy, frozen or other perishable items in there. Who do you think pays for that waste? WE do with increased prices!!!! Glad to see you outed yourself as someone who is...

Pro-cash movement calls for nationwide boycott of Coles and Woolworths

Very narrow-minded. People who have mobility issues have no choice when shopping online but to use the two major supermarkets. To say we have money to burn is totally ridiculous.

No, the staff have been redeployed into doing the online orders for those of us who cannot physically attend a store.

'Card only!': Nandos' new policy puts restaurant in hot grill

No he was NOT right and that is the typical media beat-up people are gullible enough to believe. Any business has a right to refuse cash as long as there is a sign displayed saying that. People should have a choice of cash or card, but a business is not legally obligated to accept cash.

'Card only!': Nandos' new policy puts restaurant in hot grill

I have NEVER paid a fee for using a card ... I use a Visa debit card so it operates the same as EFTPOS and there is no fee. Even at ALDI as I insert the card and don't tap and go.

'Card only!': Nandos' new policy puts restaurant in hot grill

It's legal tender but no business has to accept it as long as they have clear signage saying they don't accept cash.

Health officials encourage vaccinations ahead of looming flu season

You won't convince these tin-foil hat wearers who have no knowledge of science and who think they are smarter than those who actually are educated. Amongst all the people I know who received the COVID jab, and there were many, I know of ONE case of myocarditis and even his doctors have said...

Thank you ... these nutters are everywhere! I am sure their expert probably goes by the name of "Dr Google Von YouTube". They have no science background and believe whatever conspiracy theory is fed to them.

Can Centrelink payment hikes boost music festival participation?

You are talking out of your hat and have no idea what you are ranting about. Companies are NOT desperate for workers as they make it too difficult to get a job. They offer MINIMUM hours that people CANNOT survive on and the work is usually on-call ... would YOU be able to survive on 10 hours a...
