Every few weeks we have a council (Liverpool City Council) street sweeper come around our neighborhood and clean any mess, only problem is it cannot clean under parked cars.

Councils do some pretty stupid things and waste money all the time. This is one example but there are so many more. I really question the need for councils - we need to think of an alternative to lessen the levels of government and bureaucracy that set up the mess in the first place!

You have to be careful what you say online these days, as it can be twisted so much and come back to bite you. The concept of free speech is not as it used to be - you have to be so careful what you say and how you say it as it may offend only one person and then the trouble begins.

What a great little tool! Ryobi are developing some very useful and small tools for everyday things. I have to keep out of the Ryobi isle at Bunnings, it is too tempting. If only these were available years ago when I was teaching - it would have lessened some of the manual workload.

I use Bunnings all the time but do not bother with Flybuys - I will now. My Woolies card saves me money all the time in Woolies stores, so with fly buys now I can save a little in Bunnings with the Fly buys card. Every cent counts as a bonus!
