It was removed surgically, but I lost the whole kidney because it was too big to just remove the tumour. I didn't need chemo or any further treatment because they got it all and it hadn't spread anywhere else.

I had a 7.5 cm cancerous tumour in my left kidney that was picked up by my GP from a blood test. Luckily it had not got to the stage where I needed further treatment, and I had not had any symptoms.
