Should Kmart even be selling these items? The surprising legal truth behind the $10 controversy

The problem also is some stores etc may use them to gain attention to their businesses which are located on a main road. So many reasons to stop these stupid lights being sold

Centrelink payments raise questions after long-term welfare revelation

Sadly all the people who have raised this issue with Centrelink were dismissed. There are so many people who seem to be able to get money from taxpayers without trouble, when many others in genuine need cannot qualify. I think most Australians know someone rorting the system. Then we say...

IVF giant accused of 11-year cover-up after lab mix-up leads to wrong baby

These important questions are not asked because parents to be are feeling lucky to just be chosen. Would they have refused adoption? A child is a child. However, if I paid for a procedure I would expect it to be carried out efficiently.

Park visits could look different under new 'cash grab' regulations

I have no problem with charging commercial businesses such as boot camps and exercise groups for use of public land. They charge and use public facilities. When booking public school sport grounds, the school has to pay a fee in their own locality. (This was with greater northern beaches).

South Australian Tim Looker becomes a lawyer on 74th birthday

I often see older people getting degrees and wondered if they get HECS. Another lurk as I know some lifetime students who have no intention of getting into the workforce.

No toilets, no dignity—here's why an older traveller was forced to wet herself mid-flight

I would expect more than a refund for anxiety, inconvenience and embarrassment , as I would not be able to hold on. Not good enough. At least they should have given the option to not board and seek accommodation and food vouchers

‘Scoop it!’ Neighbour’s cheeky sign targets messy dog owners

Yet we have more and more councils allowing dogs on beaches. When /if they scoop it up. There is still residue with all these contaminants. Don’t even start me on toddlers at dog parks. Yuk

They don’t say that anymore as it’s racist. Blonde jokes are also considered politically incorrect. SDC should be careful

Disability carer who killed her client in 'terrible accident' given suspended sentence

I am sure she did not get up in the morning and said I will injure and kill someone today. Unfortunately she will have to live with this mistake for the rest of her life. Hoons under age get let off and out doing the same thing the next day. These premeditated actions are worse.

Remember when spotting a turtle was a holiday thrill? Now they’re washing up sick and dying

So many people are getting their houses sprayed by pest control. Surely rains must wash these down the storm water drains which end up in the creek and washed out to sea. We are continuously risking wildlife for our convenience. People will not even slow down on the roads which are covered...

Doctors warn hospital overcrowding has reached the worst level on record

Health direct is useless. They tell you you need to see a doctor. Yep that’s why I called my doctor is closed. My husband was discharged from hospital and put on Hospital At Home. The best service ever. If a nurse can check you over the phone, why can you not get a nurse to do house calls.

Have you ever thought of retiring in the seas? Well, it might be more affordable for you

Well it’s a way to use up your assets. Then come home and go on the aged pension, get aged care and even reduced nursing home care. It certainly does not pay to save up and be self funded

The hidden rules that could cost you thousands: What every Uluru visitor needs to know about photography

I want to know where all this money is going. There are so many supposed indigenous people getting money without putting in any effort. We were there before all this sacred stuff applied and people lived in harmony.
