Woolworths slashes prices on 100+ staples—starts in a few days!

It's still not enough, shopping in general keeps going up no matter how careful you are. I pretty much buy similar products. I like certain things and look for the cheapest or best options across Aldi Coles and 5hen Woolworths. I won't buy much fruit or veg from my local Aldi as it is not upnto...

From palace to prison? A royal faces rape charges that could lock him away for a decade

At least he is being prosecuted and made to answer for possible charges which is more than can be said for the English royal family. You have to respect them for that.

MasterChef star’s ambitious restaurant ends in heartbreaking failure

Unfortunately the time and effort it takes to make the masterpieces means straight away they are really expensive and out of the reach of many everyday Australians especially when there is a cost of living crisis going on and can't see it ending anytime soom unfortunately. There is no doubt he...

Stop wasting time at Woolies! Discover the secret tip shoppers wish they knew sooner

I think the layout in all woolworths and all Coles should be similar so if you have to venture into a different store for some reason you will be pretty much at home and know where to find everything but they don't do that at all. What about looking after what suits their customers

Woman behind fake cancer scam faces justice after deceiving dozens

She and people like her absolutely get my goat and I am delighted to hear she has to pay back the money as often they don't. Yes as Suzanne Rose says Karma will come knocking and she deserves it to pray on vulnerable people is just not on. And unfortunately there are so many people like her...

MasterChef star’s ambitious restaurant ends in heartbreaking failure

Ronald is certainly able to produce amazing food creations so I am sure he will do well. It is always a shame when things go into liquidation but fingers crossed he works through this.

Shoppers face new safety fears amid surge in armed robberies

They change the laws but it is always months or years ahead. I don't understand why it can't be brought in as soon as it's legislated especially when we are talking about people's safety and lives. And these judges who let these dangerous idiots off with a slap on the wrist should be sacked...

Are you making this supermarket delivery mistake everyone is talking about

I remain thankful I can go and do my own shopping and don't have any of these hassles. I know a lot of people use online and have no problems but some people have endless problems and aren't happy with their produce. I watch the staff picking orders and they don't look for the best, they just...

‘Rolling in his grave’: Outrage over new price of iconic treat

I really think that regardless of price they should retain their size. They can't keep going down so they need to just keep them at a decent snack size and be done with it.

Are you making this embarrassing deed every time you shop for groceries?

I watched a couple of well dressed private school teenage males eating the free fruit in Coles one day and kept coming back for more. You would gather if the parents could afford private school they could afford fruit. But the staff didn't stop them at all. Too bad if younger children came in...

Are Gen Z Aussies onto something? How bold cash move led to a $97 fine

That doesn't make it right and if people don't stand up for principles everyone continues to get walked all over. Who knows what will be next. It may have cost him more money but it may be rallying more support at the uni all the same. He won't be the only one in that position. And it is not...

‘This cart gave me my independence back’: How one small change in Coles helps wheelchair users shop alone

Yes I also have seen them here in Perth and Woolworths have them as well. It is a wonder staff do not approach people in wheelchairs and just advise them of the trolleys available for them if they were interested to try them. There could be many out there shopping with difficulty when they don't...

Is 19 too young for a child-free wedding? One bride thought so—here's why

It usually applies to outside the family of the bride and groom but in this case the bride is being very rude in my opinion especially to then expect a present. She would not be getting one from me. There is a lot more to this story but if you can't be an adult and have all your family at your...

Airline leaves two blind women behind and offers $150 as disability fines climb to $50 million

Gives us a baseline of what not to do and what not to accept as a starting point. Apart from the fact they should not have left two passengers behind to start with, fancy flying a plane with only two on board. Only in America,

Bullsbrook residents' row with Defence Department continues over PFAS 'forever' chemicals

Gosh if there was a government minister living in the area this would have been fixed years ago. Come on Defence this is just not good enough. Pull a finger and just get on with it and do what needs doing. You are an absolute disgrace.

ALDI shoppers are baffled by this surprising checkout move—Are you missing this new rule?

Well I have never had that problem, when I consider one bag full it goes in my trolley and out comes my next bag if I am buying more than fits in one bag. Rarely use self check out at Aldi as the store I go doesn't have one.

Are Gen Z Aussies onto something? How bold cash move led to a $97 fine

But if I have got it right it is making them pay in advance for their parking, that does not sound fair. Uni students don't have much money, they are pay as you go as you earn students so what are the universities doing allowing this sort of monopoly on their grounds. Totally wrong on principle.
