Surge in berry consumption prompts potential dimethoate restriction

I worry about dishwashing soap. What chemicals does that contain? I know we need to use it but I don't trust the regulators as often their funding comes from the very companies that want their products endorsed.

Surge in berry consumption prompts potential dimethoate restriction

Paraquat is a toxic weed killer that has been banned overseas as it is known to cause Parkinson's Disease and yet our corrupt regulators have not taken it off the market. Shame on them. It is all about profit.

Celebrity chef skin cancer scare dishes up warning for Aussie seniors

I am sorry to hear about your basal cell carcinomas. My understanding is that many processed foods now have seed oils in them. I believe these are not good for our bodies and hence the rising number of cancers around.

273 Australians end up in hospital every day from falls—here’s how to make sure you’re not next

Take care! I must admit that I didn't think old age would be like this.

Centrelink and Medicare warn Australians of new data scam risk

I understand that there will be rallies to try and stop digital ID (which I do not want either). We just have to keep saying No. I agree that the MyGov website is impossible to navigate.

Centrelink and Medicare warn Australians of new data scam risk

Mygov is optional not compulsory as I found out from CentreLink. I do not want Digital ID and to have to give the government all my various information. (Putting all your eggs in the one basket). I see this as a recipe for disaster. Australia rejected the Australia card in a referendum...

Political career collapses after MP found guilty of stealing funds meant for vulnerable students

I hope he does not receive a "Politician's Pension for Life". He is nothing but a criminal.

Thousands of seniors face long delays for government home care support

I tend to agree. The jab was a crime against humanity. It did not stop transmission of the disease and I know many people who were harmed. Too much money is being spent on increasing the public service workforce, the NDIS and not to mention the $100,000,00 being sent off shore to the WHO...

Rising retail theft is putting shoppers at risk—even authorities are alarmed!

Absolutely. We don't want people in Australia who commit these crimes. Send them back to their country of origin and black ban them from ever returning.

‘Threat to humanity’: You might be exposed to these cancer-causing chemicals every day

I also have noted the nastiness if one disagrees and.................they must have the last word. I agree with you Sherril54.

‘Threat to humanity’: You might be exposed to these cancer-causing chemicals every day

I agree with you. I have recently met 2 people who were damaged by the vaccine. One had to sell his business and retire from work. The other young lady is struggling with day to day life activities. I feel very sorry for both of them.

Are you paying too much upfront? Simple trick helps Aussie save $1,600

Absolutely. Each bill that we must pay is listed on a spreadsheet which I have called my budget. I calculate how much that bill is on a weekly basis and I put that money away each pay period. Then when a bill comes in, I check to see whether I need to make an adjustment on my budget and then...

Popular vehicles face recall after hidden fault threatens driver safety

There are so many recalls nowadays. I don't know what car I would buy to avoid this. Is there no quality control anymore or are cars getting so high-tech that more can go wrong?

Could this $560 road mistake happen to you? Aussie couple demands council action

We had a section of road near us that always had potholes in it. One was getting worse and worse. I rang the council to ask them to repair it. This section of road had continually been bad and needed to be properly repaired. We are talking about a 30 year old issue. Needless to say council...

Former worker exposes Centrelink truth: 'It's a joke'

You are absolutely right. What these despicable people have done to Australia is just criminal. I think this has its merits. I wish I was younger but I am just not well enough. www.replacethem.com

Tap-and-Go Nation: Inside Australia’s $160 Billion Cashless Boom

I agree with you. Our local bank closed and the post office charged me for each transaction. My way to solve this was to open an account with the Credit Union in our area. I transfer money over to the credit union and draw out cash from their autobank. I like paying with cash and I...

Emergency services levy hike threatens household budgets across country

My understanding is that Canberra does not have a council. If that is the case, who arranges the collection of garbage and road maintenance? I would like to see a more efficient system in place and I don't like having to pay a massive bill each year for councils.

Family feuds and final wishes: she’s DEAD serious about drawing the line

Find a very good solicitor to draw up a will to stop it being contested. Leave your money to whom you want. One of my dear friends was estranged from her son and she hadn't seen him for a number of years. Birthday presents sent to the son, his wife and child were returned. She never got to...
