Yep, even in sunny Qld, yesterday was a freezer. I've found an electric throw rug is terrific...warms up in seconds, keeps you very cosy and most importantly is very cheap on electricity.....great for when sitting reading, watching TV etc.

I think this article from SDC is incorrect. There has not been any announcement from the Government on such a rebate, that I am aware of.

My local KMart (Brisbane) is a disgrace as well, especially the shoe department... always a mess with items dumped on the floor. Other clothing areas resemble a jumble sale, no attempt made to try to fold an item. Whereas, Big W's shoe area is very clean and neat with small seats to sit and try...

I would never dream of taking a trolley of groceries into another grocery store....just laziness, put them in your car, go back and do the rest of your shopping.
