Tap-and-Go Nation: Inside Australia’s $160 Billion Cashless Boom

Tap-and-Go Nation: Inside Australia’s $160 Billion Cashless Boom

I was replying to another person who said the bank controls their money and that they can't access it. They never mentioned cash. Of course there maybe amounts you can't get on a particular day, that can change daily depending on what cash comes in. A bank does not have unlimited cash on hand.

A thousand dollars??? Not my Bank, maybe you're with the wrong one. They cannot stop you from taking your own money, don't be ridiculous. They may restrict how mush CASH you can get due to ensuring they have enough on hand for everyone. But one thousand dollars is nothing. How often does that...

Tap-and-Go Nation: Inside Australia’s $160 Billion Cashless Boom

Well Macq Bank are an investment bank, retail banking is not the main focus. You say country towns, so a town with 50 people should have a bank, or a town with 100, 500, where do you draw the line. What about all the people that live in remote areas, no town as such.

Tap-and-Go Nation: Inside Australia’s $160 Billion Cashless Boom

The PO does not charge for withdrawals. The Bank that you deal with charges the fee, so some banks do not charge, some may charge for certain accounts but it's NOT the Post Office
