    Those things hanging limply below the T shirt. WAY back men would shave with what were called cut throat razors and to hone the sharpness of the blade they would "strop" them on a thick leather strip ( similar to a leather belt). Thus my dad's reference to "razor strops)😄

    The point I was trying to make is that same water that feeds the toilet cistern is the same water coming out of any tap elsewhere on the property that you may be drinking from. Good luck with that if you don't have a filter!
