Australia Post reveals massive update for deliveries nationwide! Here's what we know so far

I've always had this service, it's not new. I don't know if our delivery couple just go 'above and beyond' but the app has a see where we left it feature and if it required a signature I know an honest attempt was made. A cheap doorbell camera can cover from the customer's side. I find treating...

New camera trial aims to catch drivers in the act–are you breaking this rule?

Oonly if everyone is treated equally. I witnessed cops in my local area tailgating a young red P plate driver, presumably trying to frighten the poor kid into making a mistake. I followed until the young driver turned into a driveway and the cop sped off. I consider this a pretty low act from...

I'm not a coffee drinker, so before any of the good stuff, I have to put my head under the tap. Read 'shower', preferably cold, to get functional. After that it depends on who's need is greatest, family breakfast or food and play for my puppy.

Aussie actress stuns fans with a jaw-dropping dance in minimal clothing

Sorry guys, this may seem a bit 'out there' but if Australia needs a queen from our 'Arts community' then my pick would be Celeste Barber. Not only is she hilariously funny but she's also a good person and a very 'real' one. I have no trouble remembering the effort she put into fund-raising...

'Honestly very gross': Homeowner spots intruder in her home multiple times!

Bugger the 'what about big brother' crowd or 'the government is collecting our data', wherever possible I use a fingerprint or facial recognition. There ain't 2 people with my ugly mug anywhere!

Authorities fine this real estate agent after being involved in 'deceptive acts'. What did she do?

I'm an old girl and haven't rented in decades. That being said, I did have a horror real estate agent when renting my very first flat. The b*stard would let himself in whenever he wanted, claiming an 'inspection'. You can guess what he was inspecting. Very short tenancy there. Obviously it...

This toy has Aussies lining up before dawn—find out why it’s worth up to $3,000!

Idiots with more money than sense. Imagine when/if the day comes, the bottom drops out of their world, and they have cause, as many smokers and drinkers have, to look back on the money they have wasted.

Traveller uncovers shocking hotel secret—dream holiday turns into disaster

I find that it's often better to get 'local opinions', rather than 'reviews', about accommodation. The locals hear what's going on and are usually willing to share. Even small towns, where folk are cautious about offending other locals, you can get genuine recommendations.

TODAY show joke sparks outrage as controversial video triggers backlash

I can't understand the mentality of anyone who finds the misfortunes of others, animal or human, entertaining. I cannot laugh at shows like "Funniest Home Videos" and the like. The laughs are always at the expense of others. After the controversy surrounding that stupid 'influencer' and her...

Broadcaster and writer urges ocean protection to save humanity

Amazing man who has done so much with quiet dignity. I see this as the reason adults have such great respect for him. People like Greta and young activists might awaken an environmental interest in today's youth but Sir David has shown that continuity and passion for our world has a more lasting...

Drive safe: New road rule may combat roadside danger for millions of Aussies

I spend a lot of time, on a rural trips, sitting at roadworks, some with stop/go signs (human operated) and some with portable traffic lights. On one trip I had the opportunity to chat with the gentleman supervising a work site and he told me that someone doing these jobs is either killed or...

Rising cost of dining out could have serious consequences–up to 25 per cent more on your bill!

Surely the ones being taken advantage of are the people working on these holidays. None of them would be there if not for being paid extra. Who do you suppose should shoulder that cost? A struggling small business? An already underpaid youth? If you have a better alternative, please express it.

'Are you a f******* idiot?': Police officer slams driver in one heated clash

The poor bloody cop was already dealing with the fallout from a previous accident (the cause of the delays) and to have some mug thinking he was above the law, was probably the last straw. The offender, instead of admitting fault proceeds to film the interaction, thereby inflating the situation...
