Living in the country areas, it was very handy if you needed to see a specialist in a capital city, like Sydney, you could catch the train from Armidale to Sydney for free. It also was useful when my sister got very sick and I had to drive up to Queensland...

Good to know, I’m hopefully going to the UK next year. I have always taken my Medicare card with me on overseas trips and always have travel insurance, the only time I needed it was in Australia. 😁🐴🇬🇧

Question? What if someone has an Ostomy? Particularly if we have an ileostomy. What foods do they recommend, we can’t have seeds, nuts, stringy fruits or vegetables , that can block our stoma? Be interested in the reply! 😃🐴
