Shopper meltdown reveals truth behind Woolworths free offer

This was poorly handled imo, the program should have been calmly explained and an exception made this once, incident resolved for a 20c cost. Outside the Woolies I frequent there is a bin full of people's mostly unperishable foods donated by customers to feed the needy, but Woolies can't spare a...

Lawsuit reveals widespread misconduct at major lender, puts home loans at risk

The whole Financial Industry is a joke, and a law unto itself, the Banking RC proved shonky practices were rife, and clearly this was being practiced right throughout and after. There were no consequences following the RC, no raids, no charges, not one arrest, just some piddling fine they soon...

Check before you click: Customers warned over dangerous software spreading through fake websites

I understand why Govts want to know what we are doing, but why does the Financial sector continue to promote a flawed system such as this? Is it because they make so much from money laundering, or because they are lazy?

‘The new super tax has been designed to excuse long-serving politicians': And it’s causing outrage

The backlash is only coming from those affected like it is rumoured Gina has $100m in tax free Super, just imagine $10m/yr tax free income from that alone, those on $3m get around $300k/yr tax free.

‘The new super tax has been designed to excuse long-serving politicians': And it’s causing outrage

The concession proposal is fair imo, anyone with +$3m in Super don't need taxpayer help. Like the new Politician's Super scheme wasn't backdated to those b4 2004 it's reasonable this should remain also, it is not like Tony and Sussan get off Scott free they still have to pay the tax. The...

If it helps I don't see what the argument is about, if it doesn't it won't last long, it is no more addictive than most all pain killers out there, no problem imo.
