Protect Your Holiday Joy! Discover How a Local Councillor Might Crush Perth's Cherished Christmas Tradition!

Even worse Moreton Bay Council in Queensland is banning the homeless and their pets. This is an absolutely heartless move particularly at Christmas. Where is their compassion? Are they prepared to provide homes for these destitutue people? Banning not only the homeless but their dogs as well...

Supermarkets raise prices again for this everyday staple as cost-of-living strain hits budget meals

Well I guess we could all stop shopping at both Woolies and Coles. Difficult, but once consumers start dropping off they might just realise how important we are. Even just stopping buying roast chickens might make some difference.

Mysteriously absent again: Is Princess Catherine okay? Here's what we know!

Obviously not a lot of loving and forgiving sentiment in this world or indeed in these posts. Camilla is an elderly woman who was always the love of Charles's life. Ridiculous royal protocol insisted he get married, unfortunately not to his real and only love. Camilla has had to bear the stigma...

World leaders react with surprise and optimism to shocking election outcome

The World is going "far right". Dictators and facists and Trump is just another one. I hope Australia doesn't suck up to him. Malcom Turnbul made the comment that he may not like some of the things we say but he may respect us for not always agreeing with him. I hope one of the first things he...

World leaders react with surprise and optimism to shocking election outcome

It was a sad day when the USA chose an incoherent old man over a compassionate coherent woman. Was this a gender choice and are women still second class citizens, I don't know. I can't comprehend the women who voted for him, a supposed rapist and certainly a man who cheated on his wife. Respect...

Ask Joy: I think someone I know needs a little help (Part 2).

We have 1 hours help every fortnight. We pay $11 for this service. I was interested that someone said it was free if you are on a full pension. I have to agree that Australia is stagnating under red tape. Even these senior government services are hard to navigate and understand.

Police find prisoner after shocking mistaken release

Was he really a "dangerous" prisoner? I have only read that he had numerous vehicle offences. Also didn't he hand himself in when he saw his picture in the media? Am I reading different news?

Bankwest customer ‘absolutely gobsmacked’ after 130km cash withdrawal trip ends in failure

You actually have difficulty speaking to the head office of a bank. I was kept waiting on the other end of the phone for over 2 hours. Finally a real person to talk to after all that time only to be cut off. The banks are closing branches and the few that remain open often have long lines of...
