'I want my money back': Aussie man shares distressing experience with this bank's customer service

If it was a scam and the Bank didn't say anything the Bank would have been the bad guys for not stopping the transaction. They can't win. There are so many Bitcoin scams going around, the Bank was trying to the right thing by their customer. And of course we only hear one side of this story.

Jeanswest puts thousands of products on sale amid administration

Don't, businesses fail due to management, decisions to sell at too high a price. You do realise that the shirt you buy there for $70 could well have been made in the same factory as the shirt that sells for $20 at Kmart, or $30 at Target. The mark-up is massive and they rely on selling fewer...

Millions may be overpaying for insurance as $500 discovery is made by Aussie driver

I never said it makes a difference BUT to an insurance company it does. They have to have a cutoff point.

Millions may be overpaying for insurance as $500 discovery is made by Aussie driver

Is it? So where do boundaries go? There has to be a cut off point. My mother lived on a street that was one council on side and another council the other side but the SAME suburb.

Millions may be overpaying for insurance as $500 discovery is made by Aussie driver

I'm surprised that HE'S surprised. I though that this was well known, different locations will change your quote. Highly likely the address he used was in another suburb that has a higher risk. You can also try numerous insurance companies and get different results for different suburbs, say...

WHAT?????? So you'd rather they use the actual growth which may well be far higher than the deeming rates? FFS there are some stupid comments on here. And proof, everything is documented, nothing is being hidden. Do you understand what deeming means, how it works? It benefits us.

‘Welcome to Big Brother’: Driver’s warning after AI fines leave him hundreds out of pocket

As usual there would be more to this bloke's story, a $119.00 fine is not for a "No Stopping" zone, so what type of zone was it. Funny how millions of drivers can go forever and never get a parking fine, while others manage to rack them up and complain about them. Too many people think laws...
