    Problem with Vicroads

. I am not at all an old 60, opposite in fact! The reason I think people of ALL ages should be re-tested is because over the years rules change & the congestion on roads has increased, as well as the introduction of expressways. There are many people who do not know the road rules, which is...

    Problem with Vicroads

I believe everyone should have a driving test every 10 years & from 70 every 5 years with a qualified driving instructor. As people age peripheral vision & reaction time is reduced. There are also many that are oblivious to new road rules & cause chaos on the roads.

Small business accuses Commbank of making cash ‘actively difficult’ to use

I’ve had a budget for years & update my spreadsheet every 6 months. All utilities & set expenses are averaged out over 12 months. I have a set amount I can withdraw weekly.

Small business accuses Commbank of making cash ‘actively difficult’ to use

It’s actually not illegal for shops to refuse cash. They can set their own terms & conditions which includes whether they will accept cash or card only payments. They should have clear signage when you enter though.

An ALDI shopper's shocking discovery on the floor was not what it seemed – find out what they really stumbled upon!

It could even be a young employee. It seems bullies are starting at a younger age now. Attitude & mimicking older siblings behaviour. One child said to the teacher at Kindy ”you’re not my parent” when they were given instruction. My 4yr old grandson has been bullied at Kindy by a ‘friend’ he...

‘Not a pleasant thing’: Princess Kate reportedly ‘struggles’ as she proceeds with cancer treatment

I am appalled at the way the media hound public figures. The way people carried on about the photo Kate edited, as if there was some kind of conspiracy to deceive people, was ridiculous. Now it’s her cancer treatment that’s the latest gossip. It’s nobody’s business what is going on in someone’s...

American faces backlash for attacking Australians on healthcare: ‘Nothing is free’

I would never complain about our health system. We are very lucky in this country. Too many people still going to emergency departments for treatment that could be provided in a clinic though.

Even worse if they played Opera music. I would avoid the place for sure.

Parked vehicle with 'fake' disabled badge causes concern among Aussie drivers

In SA there is insufficient disability parking at most places. It is also hard when most are not undercover & the extra time it takes to transfer someone into a wheelchair leave people soaking wet by the time they enter the shopping centre, if it’s raining.

Parked vehicle with 'fake' disabled badge causes concern among Aussie drivers

I use a disability permit when transporting my friend with a wheelchair. Space is needed to get her in & out of the vehicle. That is the purpose of these carparks.

Neighbour's request leaves Aussie homeowner 'shaking and fuming'

My son has a large soccer net. The ball does occasionally hit the fence. His support worker‘s regulate playing time.

Neighbour's request leaves Aussie homeowner 'shaking and fuming'

True, people get so worked up over petty things . No need to put it on social media either. Compromise & understanding on both sides is needed.

See the controversial playground rule that's catching pet owners off guard!

We don’t have a dog, however they are part of your family when you do have one. Most people are responsible with their dogs & this rule is ridiculous. I think dogs should remain outside fenced playgrounds though & be kept a few metres away if unfenced.

Woolworths announces major update on Direct To Boot Service—is your local store affected?

I recently used this service twice when not feeling 100% & found it very good. I had been unwell with a migraine the day before on one occasion & was still affected by bright light & noise. I only had to drive 2 mins to the shops & was home again within 10 mins.
