Palace buzzes over royal couple's surprise Easter absence: 'This is a big deal'

William and Catherine have been shown that life can be cut very short and they are making the most of family time in their extremely busy schedules and should the worst happen and William becomes King in the near future these times are going to more rare so need to be seized now. Good on them...

Promises, promises in election 2025: What major parties are offering older Australians

Yes in reality we are not getting much of anything. The electricity credit won't go far though better than a kick in the butt but seriously they are not delivering anything. So frankly it does not matter much who we vote for. Which is a real shame for never has there been such a poor bunch of...

'Everything is in packs': This CEO blew the lid off a $2,500 'scam' at supermarkets!

I agree but the supermarkets are starting to make more of their specials buy 2 instead of reducing the price of the single item. That is what we are saying. Wrong in principle.

Simo Simply because they can. And shush Woolworths and Coles might hear you and start.

Is flu season at its peak? Health officials record more cases this month

I am getting mine on 1st May so it covers me for actual winter when it will be more rampant and that is when it is advised to have it. Do it every year and so far so good 🤞🙏

Liquor stores in this state announce closure on ANZAC long weekend. Why?

They just have to shop the day before for their alcohol on Friday. It's called planning ahead. It's not hard or rocket science. Perhaps we need to shut them a day a week for a few weeks so they can practice and get used to it.🤔 or it could be that alcohol free day people are trying to say would...

Residents demand immediate action as retirement dream turns into nightmare

I hear you and agree. I have always said I would never go into an aged care home. But seriously what are people meant to do when they can no longer care for themselves and live alone. A caravan is no good then either. This country is a disgrace the way it has allowed aged care to be run by...

'Everything is in packs': This CEO blew the lid off a $2,500 'scam' at supermarkets!

I was just going to comment on exactly that point. That is one main way the big 2 get you to buy more and it is very wrong in my opinion and is getting more common. Something the ACCC should be jumping on the single price needs to be the cheap price.

Aussies warned over 'necessary evil' bill shocks during ANZAC Day long weekend

Not necessarily so. You allow for what you know it to be especially if you go to a place often. Not for what they add as surcharges which sometimes make it beyond ridiculous.

Powerful natural antibiotics you have in your kitchen

Better to try the natural way first as antibiotics are being used so frequently they are losing their usefulness.

Powerful natural antibiotics you have in your kitchen

Collodial silver if you can get it, is brilliant for getting rid of a sore throat in spray form. Used to be able to buy it at Maddington in WA. Haven't seen it for ages but have forgotten about it also.

Secrets Exposed: This Is the Shocking Truth Behind Why People Cheat and the Sneaky Red Flag You Must Never Ignore!

My husband of 28 years was cheating with my former best friend for several months last year. They were both lying about it and lying about lying and it all came to a head when we went to Singapore for a short holiday. They had a great time , my trip was a nightmare. Needless to say the...

‘False impression’: National icon accuses broadcaster of crossing the line

But I don't log out ever, overnight the system or whatever has logged me out but I can't simply log in as it won't accept me so have to say I need to reset and go through the rigmarole and then I am back in but the next day I am logged out again. Very frustrating.

Expat opens up about 'very Australia-specific issue' online: 'Australia, I still love you'

It is definitely possible to just meet the wrong men. Clearly not all men treat women badly but unfortunately Australia does have a bad reputation for violence against women but that's a separate issue. I know plenty of English males who don't know how to treat women properly so it is also not...

Woman takes drastic step to combat invasive species, gets neighbours talking

I am glad I don't live over there and have to bother with that. When it rains here I get the march of the snails and I am out picking hundreds of them up. Don't know where they come from disgusting things.

Tim Tam tempts Aussies’ taste buds with new flavour: 'What more could you wish for?'

I don't buy any of them but I am sure there will be plenty willing to try. I think the white chocolate would be too sweet.

‘False impression’: National icon accuses broadcaster of crossing the line

This is nothing to do with this article but is anyone else having a problem needing to log in every day then it won't accept my log in and I have to reset. Until I do this I cannot do anything on the SDC page apart from games. It has been going on for a few days now and is very frustrating.
