Elite golf club ejects former political figure over controversial conduct

Like I said - short memories. Look at the state run nursing homes compared to the federal run homes, way less deaths in state run.

Elite golf club ejects former political figure over controversial conduct

Sorry, but I’m not a fan of politicians but I thing this whole thing is stupid and unfair. we had a one in a hundred year pandemic, no instruction book supplied. People were dying in droves overseas, NSW were doing a bad job at stopping the virus coming into Australia. We had an absent Prime...

Fight or flight? Street survey reveals surprising answers about defending Australia

I think the defence forces would find it very hard to find people to participate in a war. Lots of people of fighting age these days have either mental health issues, are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol or just couldn’t care less about another human being. There would be quite a few medical...

Shocking Demand Exposed: Find Out the Disturbing Request Made to This 22-Year-Old Tradie!

Good on her! I remember many years ago we had a female electrician working in our house. She was awesome. It was a little out of the ordinary at the time for her to be doing a ‘man’s’ job but she was as good if not better than other electricians we had employed to do work for us.

Can this proposal help seniors amid the housing crisis? Retirement expert weighs in

We sort of downsized. Living away from family and friends we still need the extra bedrooms for when they visit but we downsized the outdoor area. Much less maintenance for my husband. We did end up with a small profit which went into super but it didn’t affect our pensions.

Could this coffee habit lower diabetes risk? Here’s what the latest study reveals

I haven’t had sugar in tea or coffee since I was 16. When I started work I was actually embarrassed to say I took three sugars in tea and coffee so I decided not to have any. Now I couldn’t drink either with sugar, but I was diagnosed diabetic three years ago. I drink green tea now so no milk...

Escape to Down Under Gone Wrong: This Family Left Scotland for Australia and Regretted It Almost Immediately!

We came from the UK in 1986 with two small children. I have never been back, just not interested, but my Mum came with us and my sister already lived here. My husband’s Mum is still alive at 98! Plus he has a sister and brother in England so he goes over every couple of years to see them. Before...

Beware! This impulsive Aussie trend is causing heartache—see the shocking roadside photos!

Everything we donate to charity has been throughly washed and inspected as to its condition. I have a rule that if I wouldn’t buy it, don’t expect anyone else to. I am guilty of buying to many clothes which I’m trying to change but I just can’t go past a bargain lol.

A receptionist dismissed my health concerns – but I was diagnosed with a terrifying illness. Learn the warning signs now!

It used to happen years ago when my boys were kids in the UK. We had a renowned children’s hospital close by and on one of my visits there a paediatrician told me a receptionist refusing or questioning an appointment was unacceptable and happening too often. He said I was always welcome to bring...

‘I felt she was picking on me’: Why one shopper’s routine purchase turned into a nightmare

Maybe. Then the checkout operator is a bit of an AH as probably no one as asked for help before and people have been swapping cards around without incident. Not as though it’s coming out of her wages.

Shoppers spot rare overseas item at Kmart: 'Tastes stupidly better'

The Reject shop regularly has English chocolate items. I bought my Christmas Quality Street from there which was made in the UK.

‘I felt she was picking on me’: Why one shopper’s routine purchase turned into a nightmare

Sounds a bit weird to me. You scan your own card, no need for the checkout operator to even see it. My husband has our card and mine is in the wallet on my phone

'That's a lot of breathing space taken': Driver laments over inaccurate parking fine

What I got from this was the parking inspector made a mistake and it was rectified. So mistakes happen, that’s life. It was fixed so problem solved - move on

Fines soar to $30 million as Australia cracks down on mobile phone while driving—are you next?

My phone stays in my bag. I do use the sat nav if I need to but I listen rather than look at it. If I need to check it I will pull up at the side of the road.
