Good on her! I remember many years ago we had a female electrician working in our house. She was awesome. It was a little out of the ordinary at the time for her to be doing a ‘man’s’ job but she was as good if not better than other electricians we had employed to do work for us.

We sort of downsized. Living away from family and friends we still need the extra bedrooms for when they visit but we downsized the outdoor area. Much less maintenance for my husband. We did end up with a small profit which went into super but it didn’t affect our pensions.

Sounds a bit weird to me. You scan your own card, no need for the checkout operator to even see it. My husband has our card and mine is in the wallet on my phone

What I got from this was the parking inspector made a mistake and it was rectified. So mistakes happen, that’s life. It was fixed so problem solved - move on

My phone stays in my bag. I do use the sat nav if I need to but I listen rather than look at it. If I need to check it I will pull up at the side of the road.
