Furniture giant releases limited edition item dedicated to Aussie homemakers!

Best thongs I’ve seen were a Guinness pair a friend from the UK had. He left footprints with little glasses of Guinness on them all over the beach. They were so cute lol

Coles and Woolies pay hidden $6 million cost, ALDI stays out

Until I read this the other day I didn’t even notice that Aldi didn’t have music - not that I go in there too often. But I only notice Coles and Woolies music if I’m in the mood for it. I don’t hang about in the supermarket, I’m an in and out shopper with a list or I get a click and collect or...

'I think this was all a game to her': Mum falls prey to little-known Facebook scam

I don’t buy anything through Facebook. If I see something that interests me I check it out through google. Most of the time I can get it on eBay or somewhere, usually at a lesser price and somewhere more secure

'I think this was all a game to her': Mum falls prey to little-known Facebook scam

My husband was only going to use Facebook “when hell freezes over”. I made him an account when he was going to the UK to visit his Mum and siblings. It was great to keep in touch without cost and everyone knew how to get hold of him - I created a monster! lol.

I never feel uncomfortable no matter how many cameras are around. I’m not doing anything wrong so they can film anything they want. Nothing to see here

'I think this was all a game to her': Mum falls prey to little-known Facebook scam

I use Facebook to keep in touch with friends and relatives. It’s been great to connect with people especially from overseas. I am in contact with lots of people I was childhood friends with. I never accept friend requests from anyone I don’t know. If I speak to someone over a comment in a thread...

Veterinarians Warn: Are You Missing These Surprising Signs of Winter Depression in Your Dog?

I have noticed my dog appears depressed atm. He is also quite anxious as he has slipped a couple of times on the laminate floor and it’s affected his confidence. Reusing empty city buildings could help solve the housing and homelessness crisis

I think repurposing empty buildings is a great way to go, it should have been happening years ago. So many people have no where to live and so many empty buildings just sitting there, crumbling. It makes so much sense not to build new when refurbishment would take less time and materials.

    A Mother’s Day Story

A lovely story. I know when my mum was in the nursing home she really looked forward to the concerts. We’d actually get the side eye if we happened to call in while one was happening lol. one particular performer would play songs from movies then ask the residents questions about the movie. My...

TODAY show joke sparks outrage as controversial video triggers backlash

My nephew is the same with wombats. He came home in the early hours once and he heard a growl in the darkness and a wombat charged at him and he had to jump down a far way from the front door to the driveway, lucky he didn’t break a leg or something. The same wombat near killed him and his...

Sweet Tooth, Bitter Truth: The High Cost of Free Sugars in Our Golden Years

I now do most of the recommend things in this artical. I lost 20kg but I put on a couple of kilos over Christmas and my husbands 70th birthday celebrations and I’m finding it really hard to get back on track (also having a hip injury atm is making exercise difficult). But I stick to what I do...
