'I’m not going to serve you here': Here’s why Aussies are divided over this restaurant drama

She went to an upmarket area with that restaurant & it's not somewhere I would eat with a small child. In the area, there are other casual places that would have suited better.

'Honestly very gross': Homeowner spots intruder in her home multiple times!

We had someone walk into our front yard & steal flowered plants from some large pots & a small ornamental cactus. We reckon it was about 4:30am. The security lights would have gone off. People told us they repot plants & sell them to landscapers, who don't know any different. We now lock...

Is it unreasonable to eat nuts... next to a person with a nut allergy?

That must have changed, as I'm sure there's no ban on any foods in schools these days. However, the school/teachers are trained in anaphylaxis management. In answer to your question, adults with a nut allergy cope well in work and social aspects. They are educated.

Are You Unknowingly Exposing Your Family to Deadly Pathogens in This Common Home Appliance?

I always wash towels with 60 degrees temperature. Natural sun kills any nasty things too. My washing machine gives a reminder every 100 washes to clean the drum (empty) with vinegar. The cycle is set for 90 degrees to kill.

Is it unreasonable to eat nuts... next to a person with a nut allergy?

My son developed a nut allergy in adulthood. We were told it can happen at any age. I eat nuts. However, I'm the same as Suzanne & wouldn't sit next to the person, due to cross contamination.

Are their titles on the chopping block? Insiders reveal tension between Royal Family members because of one act

At the time when they left for America, the UK news stated that the Queen had an agreement with them to stop using their HRH title. She said that only working royals are allowed to use their royal titles. The Queen dropped Andrew's HRH title. They can all use their royal titles, but not use...

Cost-cutting at the checkout might be backfiring—here’s what frustrated shoppers are saying

I've found the same thing a few times with spuds. Supermarket's huge warehouses freeze everything, before they get trucked to the individual stores. I used to go to the farmers markets, so might think about going back.

'She was the light that lifted so many survivors': Tributes pour for the passing of Virginia Giuffre

I read Ghislaine Maxwell claimed that photo with Andrew was fake & not genuine. Who knows, however Virginia's parents are questionable. She was living on the streets at 14yrs old.

The Shocking Truth About Australia's Healthcare Crisis: Pain, Delays, and Microwaved Meals Await You

I'm not sure why GP practices would be closing. My local GP practice charges $90 for up to 15 minutes - ie. $360/hour, plus they don't bulk bill pensioners - only DVA Gold card holders. Ceasing bulk billing for pensioners only began after lockdown.

Popular butcher closes after sudden fallout with market management

Yes, it was sad to see those closed. Haven't heard that Sussan Grae is closed though. A Melbourne lady owns Suzanne Grae, Sportsgirl & Sussan. She took the business over from her father who started it. I like TK Maxx also, & have bought some crockery which are made in England & Italy. TK...
