Yes we have a caravan with shower and toilet, solar panels for electricity and gas for hot water and cooking. You do realise that a lot of Showgrounds do not have facilities and hundreds of holiday makers use them because of convenience

This all comes from People voting for whoever gives a tax reduction, or even not wanting to pay a co-payment. You are entitled to free medical even if you have not contributed during the earlier years, but now get the pension. There is only so much money to go around. Housing, education...
