    I only recently realised that my car will not move forward, no matter what, if I am not wearing the seatbelt. (It was a parking situation on private property). The vehicle literally engaged the park brake until the seatbelt was done up.

    Once upon a time we used to visit Maccas, just to use the loo, when on long trips. They used to be cleaned every hour and signs on the back of each door were signed off by the staff member who did the cleaning, and the time it was done. Not any more. Basic repairs are not even being done...

    Don't you just love the idiots who have 'dirt on you' because of your computer usage or 'incriminating photos/video' of you? For starters I don't own a computer, have never filmed anything incriminating (wouldn't know how, even if I wanted to), and am so old and ugly, who would want to view it...

    Tap and pay cost me .5% surcharge on Saturday, if I put my savings account card in the machine at Aldi I apparently would not have paid the surcharge.

    They're obliged to have the sign up, but most businesses make it as small and inconspicuous as possible.

    This was covered in a previous SDC letter. And it's not scaremongering if it's a statement of fact. Some articles I've seen here, I'd consider scaremongering but the facts about bank fees etc are not amongst them.
