Massive petrol station opens up in this state, and it could be the biggest one yet

Saw this on the news the other night and people were cued around the block to go and get petrol there. Never ceases to amaze me why people by hook or by crook have to go and stand in a cattle race to go to a new shop. Big deal it will be there the next day and the next - stupid sheep - ready...

Would removing this cost fix the housing crisis for retirees? Experts weigh in

If it wasn't for the exorbitant stamp duty on sale and re-purchase, I would have downsized years ago. That added to the greedy real estate agent costs make it prohibitive to change. As for tiers of Government, local & federal are all we need. Get rid of the state leeches as they serve no purpose.

Is Australia expecting an enemy soon? Insider reveals details about possible attacks Down Under!

Exactly my thoughts - they have cruised around Australia taking particular note of all our defence installations and we just sat back and shrugged that they were outside international borders. Action should have been instigated when they released decoy flares in front of our RAAF patrol plane...

Fresh or foul? Coles customers outraged over questionable food on shelves

The best prawns I have bought in the past few months have been fresh Australian prawns from Aldi - cheaper than Coles & Woolworths and fresher. Absolutely beautiful and sweet and firm flesh - not soggy like the others who sell frozen then thawed offerings. Problem is, they seem not to be...

Fresh or foul? Coles customers outraged over questionable food on shelves

Vannemei prawns in particular from Vietnam (Mekong Delta) where human pollution is severe. There are also significant frozen fish & seafood imported from China (sometimes via NZ & labelled product of NZ). All Asian food, seafood and fish (frozen and tinned) is given a very wide berth in my...

Struggling with pain? Experts unveil revolutionary treatment for crippling condition

About 10 years ago I had fractured the socket in my shoulder (go-karting!). Subsequent treatment included acupuncture, 3 x Cortisol injections, athrescope and then finally in 2017 shoulder ball replacement due to arthritis. Apart from being black from shoulder to elbow (very ugly) surgery went...

What's lurking in your food? Woman shares unusual find on her meal!

With the price of avocados at the moment I very much doubt that they would have wasted half an avo like this. Methinks it is a ruse to get a free feed.

The reaction of the governing body seems to be a bit hit and miss - recommending checking registration, banning the clinic from practising etc. NO mention of any punitive action against the operators or business owners.
