Feeling the pinch? Here's why some might miss out on a potential $932 support increase

None of NDIS costs are justified, they need to think of a better system like scrapping NDIS and letting the people who care for the people take charge, like getting 3 quotes, sending them in , getting approved and having the work done in an appropriate time scale. They would save millions not...

‘$3.10 isn't even a litre of milk’: Centrelink recipients slam latest payment increase

For Amanda Rishworth to even state "the increase will help ease some pressure" is an insult . I really wish these people would live in our shoes for a full month and see what they say then. They have no idea about the real life outside of their $500,000 income. There are people in the Community...

‘Dole bludger’? Expert explains why common criticism of Centrelink recipients misses the mark

I try to navigate this every day. After a major car accident, no fault of my own stationary at lights when a 5 tonne truck failed to stop and wiped me out I have attempted 3 times applying for DSP only to be rejected, my list of injuries and impairments, along with PTSD don't justify DSP claim...
