‘Useless paper I’ve ever used’: This ALDI product leaves shoppers furious!

I buy the huge rolls when they come out at limited times and I’ve never had a problem…. perhaps there’s a problem with the smaller rolls so I won’t be buying them!

Federal Budget 2024: What does it mean for you?

Nothing for pensioners except a lousy $75 a quarter that everyone gets. I get $700 a fortnight I’d like to see the PM live on $200 a fortnight after $500 of that has been paid on the mortgage

Unlock the secret trick a savvy shopper used to slash her grocery bills!

Never seen such specials in my local Coles or Woollies. They do have mark downs but nothing like 84c for pork cutlets. I did buy some lamb loin chops for $7 once but they were off so it puts me off buying meat as for the rest I would be very dubious about the freshness of anything marked down...

I agree 100% sorry I thought that story was ‘meh’ maybe it was all to do with a yank moving to Aussie but for whatever reason I would be absolutely miffed that story won … it was boring

Valentine's 'Nostalgia Competition' - Share your memories of love and you could win $100

I don’t recall ever celebrating Valentine’s Day back in the day but I have a funny courting story. I was 16 at the time and my parents had started to let me go out but only double dating so my best friend and her boyfriend along with mine went to the movies in his old Morris Minor. On the way...

Imagine what this tenant did to provoke a shocking ‘abusive’ rant from a real estate agent!

Ohhh I think you’re being a tad too generous there or out of millions of tenants you’re the golden child because in my experience there are two laws unto real estate agents. If you’re a tenant you are definitely not treated the same as if you were a potential property buyer and that is a fact...

Is your grocery haul shrinking? Discover the 'shrinkflation' phenomenon!

I’ve also noticed that with the jumbo eggs I buy from IGA 10 in a pkt they were so big they could only fit 10 in a special carton now you could fit 12 in a standard pack I’ve weighed them and they are no longer 70 grams or over yet the price has gone up to nearly $6 but I think the biggest...

Why are Aussies so 'aggressive'? This woman may have the answer!

Oh pleeaase! Next you’ll be blaming Paul Keating or your indigenous people! The fact is it’s an entitlement that you have a right to the land and everything on it. A lot of countries have suffered with hardship but in most cases it’s made their people humble and gracious not arrogant and...

Battle of the Vanilla Extracts: Woolies vs. ALDI vs. Coles vs. Premium

I don’t care where a product is made…in these days of high inflation I’ll buy to save money as long as the quality is good. A lot of products from Aldi are imported the quality is always good and so are the prices. Gone are the days when you worried whether it was made in Australia support...
