Bride wears her grandmother’s wedding dress from 1961

My mother was so tiny when she married.. my daughter wore her wedding dress when she was about 12 or 13 as a dress-up, and although she's only a size 8 to 10, it was too small for her when she was married.... I was size 14-16 so couldn't wear her dress... but it still sits in a box, mum passed...

What an absolute bargain!! I do have a big freezer, so I'll often grab something extra when I see it on sale... but I've never been this lucky.!!

Woolies shopper’s “disappointing” discovery in a pack of lamb steaks goes viral, Woolworths apologises

There are several comments saying they have experienced the same... and yeah, taken it back and recieved apologies and refund/replacement.... but surely this is costing Woolies more money in the long-run .... its about time they revisited their butchering sites and told their workers to stop...

Minnie Mouse’s new “progressive” look sparks outrage among furious Disney fans — “I’m redesigning this!”

I know we are trying to be inclusive to the gay and lesbian, etc society... but to change Minnie into a 'inter-sex' outfit... where has the 'female' representative gone???? Leave Minnie in a dress and bring in her transexual cousin (Leslie or Jordan or one of those male/female names) in the...

If you're having a BBQ Christmas lunch...the kids would probably like having a Christmas tree shaped burger patty... just a but of fun... its a wonder they didn't also bring out a little triangle bun to go with it 🤣

Macca’s burgers ranked from best to worst — How did your favourite fare?

I used to like the fish burger, but they are so small now, you need 2 to feel like you've eaten something and they are too expensive to buy 2 at a time... there's not enough salad in the Big Mac.. its just meat lettuce cheese with a couple of pickles... need tomato to give it more flavour...

Truck driver involved in a horrific crash that killed a two-year-old might not survive his own mental health, according to his daughter

I have often said that they need to include more "common-sense " questions into the driving test (like why won't you rapidly change lanes in front of a huge truck...) and getting new drivers to understand that it takes longer for things like truck and trains to stop....that it takes them longer...

Yes... sadly there are a lot of elderly people who are lonely or a bit 'slow' that are soon identified as an easy target..... let's just hope she isn't stripped of her money or home or the length of years in her life...

Senior Australians of the Year - A celebration of those who dedicate their lives to their community

I'm glad to such a variety of people...Its much as I love icons such as Slim Dusty, I'd like to think that these awards will go to more people who are doing charitable work, work that really supports a wide variety of people in the Australian community and not just people who are doing the job...

The $59 Kmart appliance that shoppers are raving about — “It’s amazing!”

I have put ceiling fans right through my house... air-conditioning goes off and people can sleep with a fan directly over their bed....only drawback is the cost... 150 per fan on special at the time...and another 150 per fan to have them installed by electrician... but I think the money it's...

Kmart launches online-exclusive budget white goods!

I think all products like this should have to list what the working parts are made of. I had a friend who bought a cheap washing machine (single mum, several kids)... she had it repaired several times in the first year under warranty. .then that ended and to fix it was nearly as much as buying...

Kmart launches online-exclusive budget white goods!

Exactly it... things were made to last forever...but that doesn't make money...so now things are made to last just longer than their warranty!!

Kmart launches online-exclusive budget white goods!

Yeah...I don't know how SMEG got its reputation for being a good product... is it just because people believe expensive = good quality... because I just keep hearing story after story about how terrible their products are!!! And are not even cheap!!

Royal parents William and Kate don’t want their youngest Prince Louis to be ‘royal hanger-on’ like the Duke of York

I hope they are able to get the balance right for their kids... that's why I think its better to have a King (so the wife/mother has time for kids)...because while the Queen has been so busy with her job, she's had to rely on staff to raise her children...and noone can give the motherly love...

The future of the Royal Family is in Kate Middleton’s hands, says former royal staffer

I think..like Queen Victoria (who didn't have much faith in her son Bertie...) the keep going, hoping he will mature and be able to step up when she dies.... but I think that Charles might take on the role and then be the one that retires and let's William take over... its a really different age...

Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly ‘terrified’ and ‘kept awake at night’ over fears that the line of succession is in danger

He's a trained helicopter pilot.. flew in the war... probably a damn site safer than on the roads!! Nothing to fear, and I can't see the Queen unable to sleep over that!...
