When you get a call from your "bank"
I have just received a call, recorded message, from a mobile no purporting to be from my bank which told me about a transaction of $xxx.xx and depending on my "reaction to press a certain no, or to call the number given.

Nothing new here about checkout placement. Many years ago servos moved the checkouts from the door to at the furtherest away they could .
all theses layouts are the work of the marketing brains trust. The classic woukld be new servo layouts in NZ I managed - a canopy over the pump area but no...
Eating Properly
So, the dietician asked me , as I am old and on my own, if I was eating properly.
I replied: "Most times"
"What do you mean, most times?"
"Well I usually use a knife and fork but sometimes I do use my fingers, and lick my plate"
🤣🤣
This afternoon I was chatting to the farmer where I am camped and he said he had tried to call ATO was told "All our lines are busy" and they hung up. Not even an offer to wait.
Re the Aldi bug zapper - for a while now I have had one of the conical shaped blue light ones.
A couple of pretend entymoligists tried to tell me bugs, mozzies aren't attracted to light only smells.
I reckon they need to go to a bug seance and talk to the departed - or make a pudding out the...
Oh, sometimes I don't check before posting and spell check doesn't always work since the mispelled word is already in the spellcheck dickshunery :)
And I usually use humour when I pick others mispelling especially duel for dual. - a like " who won the fight, what sort of weapons? "
using of and...

I love it now that with smartphoens we get to see the action and not just still images or just read about the action.
Mind you, unacceptable when there is an accident or somesuch and people will film it all or worse not even step in to help. The railway station scene in A Man Called Otto is a...

I use these scrapers in the kitchen, not just for cleaning my small amount of bench before wiping down but also as a spreader for butter, jam, etc etc.
I use metal ones for my pressed steel pan to clean any burnt bits off...

I should add I have used both the Aldi Col;way and the Heinz aioli and much fr4om the latter.

The airfryer set down to 120-130 for a slow cook to get the extra tenderness, which means resetting...
