Australia declares first human 'bird flu' case—here's what we know so far

I've been having a few issues with this site of late, seems to be when I'm working the phone rather than the PC.

Australia declares first human 'bird flu' case—here's what we know so far

Strewth, what happened here. What's going on fellas. The old passions are inflamed sounds like. The need for strong words is upon us. Fine entertaining session reading the last few posts. Not sure who wins the crown of off-topic King after some really solid on-topic contributions by both...

Experts raise concern as surge in contagious virus cases threatens Aussie babies and seniors

The fluctuations or disparity in costs around the country just seem wrong. We paid $337 each for the RSV injection and $0 for the doctor to issue the script. Must be the free enterprise system in action I guess:ninja::rolleyes:

Health officials issue alert after monkeypox outbreak in this state

Meant in the context of the name of the cheese. Nothing to do with what Rolfe said. Always difficult to take a running.......

Health officials issue alert after monkeypox outbreak in this state

Yes, there are a lot of smarts coming out of India, full of confidence in their own abilities. Many have traits to be admired. I know many Indians, a few have similar traits to Aussies, a few are untrustworthy and a few have loftier ideals. So on the subject you speak of I would agree they are...

Health officials issue alert after monkeypox outbreak in this state

Yes, and the funny thing is, I used to, sometimes, refer to a block of cheese of any description as Coon cheese with a complete and innocent absence of political correctness or racism. The context of my calling it Coon cheese could be likened to the context of why a lot of Pomgollians call any...

What's the point if ya knob falls off at either end of the process. Then agin at 80 he's probably not worried about that. I would be thou, I have high expectations for when I'm 80. 😎

Australia declares first human 'bird flu' case—here's what we know so far

Campbell makes a persuasive argument for VitD3. I have taken this for many years now, mainly to offset a night time job that saw reduced sunshine opportunities. Stayed with me out of habit. With much sunshine available to me nowadays, I recently halved the supplement intake following a blood...

Here’s how you can transform your outdoor oasis while unlocking unbelievable savings

My step-grandfather, my Papa, died the same way when I was 17. He choked on a hard-boiled egg I was told. I loved him in a way I have not loved a man since. 57 years ago now and I can still see his face and feel his kindness to this day. It was a traumatic enough experience for me even though I...

Here’s how you can transform your outdoor oasis while unlocking unbelievable savings

I agree, I don't think comments that appear to have a goal of polarising a group (by virtue of the language used) are worth responding to, irrespective of the original intent or context. So, to be clear, imrespknding to Veggiepatch's horror that she is not an elitist. I agree with her on the...

Westpac overhauls way of paying—here’s what you need to know!

Veggiepatch, I can't imagine you getting latitude mixed up with anything, going on this definition of wide latitude: freedom to behave, act, or think in the way you want to You have that in spades.😉 :ROFLMAO:

Westpac overhauls way of paying—here’s what you need to know!

Ebby, I'm honestly not sure how that would work. Best guess would be no. From how I understand it, the credit card based rewards/awards/altitude points are only generated by purchases made with the credit card. Telstra points, I think, may only emanate from Telstra purchases or bill payments...

Westpac overhauls way of paying—here’s what you need to know!

Veggiepatch, This is a bit long, but it is the best way I can think of explaining it. It is how PattiB has described it. Whenever anything is purchased using a credit card there are points rewarded or awarded that accumulate over time. Generally 1 point per dollar spend. Some are 1.5 per...

Sitting by the bay, watching the tide come in.

I like this photo. Reminds me Look like nothing's gonna change Everything still remains the same I can't do what ten people tell me to do So I guess I'll remain the same, yes Sittin' here resting my bones And this loneliness won't leave me alone It's two thousand miles I roamed....

Holy snappin duck s**t, Ian, I wouldn't do any of that myself. Don't even want to think about trying hold back the hordes who would be doing me in if I even thought about it, let alone tried it. How the heck do you cook your tucker, never mind the rest, although all our lights are LCD.

Save big in 2024: These energy tips could slash your bills by at least $1,100

You certainly do have high expectations. I'll be happy if my monthly bill drops from $375 to $325. We are a house of 8 here, including 4 kids. Although that $435 seems abnormally high.

Health authorities record 10 Monkeypox cases as largest recorded cluster to date

That's an interesting video. I'm feeling a tad lost here, but, I think there is a connection to that video and this one. Do you think that as well? This is the reason I returned to this thread after previously having had enough. https://x.com/i/status/1801129537465708928
