Woolworths' new self-checkout rule triggers customer uproar—here's why!

If they're always asking you, it's the size of your bag that's the issue. Happened to me decades ago and I asked why. If it's bigger than a loaf of bread, they have to ask.

Virgin Australia passenger faces $800 nightmare for 'early' check-in closure

Isn't that the point? He was a seasoned traveller from that airport so he knew the 1 hour rule is rarely adhered to.

Virgin Australia passenger faces $800 nightmare for 'early' check-in closure

Their error, they should not only reimburse him and apologise, but pay him compensation. I wonder if they just lost a customer, if it was me, they sure would.

Tragic twist: Clare Nowland's death exposes non-compliant facility post-alleged taser incident

It was NOT an accident. You go and do it and see if police call it an accident! She was 95 years old and had dementia, probably didn't even realize she was holding a knife and if she had stabbed at him it probably wouldn't have moved a foot. Point is, she didn't.

Tragic twist: Clare Nowland's death exposes non-compliant facility post-alleged taser incident

Perhaps they realize the only way to change the system is to sue the pants off the idiots who don't do their jobs and to bring it into the public domain to change the problems.

Tragic twist: Clare Nowland's death exposes non-compliant facility post-alleged taser incident

I'd like to know why a large knife was accessible in the first place, if you're all so afraid of 95 year olds with dementia.

Tragic twist: Clare Nowland's death exposes non-compliant facility post-alleged taser incident

I agree, it's ridiculous that they even called the police.

Tragic twist: Clare Nowland's death exposes non-compliant facility post-alleged taser incident

There are far too many excuses made for police who don't do what they should. Dementia patients and the mentally ill are treated abominably. Yoghurt yikes: Are your Coles yoghurt tubs secretly being skimped?

It's not as if Coles produce these themselves. If they don't open the packaging, how would they know?

Woolworths' new self-checkout rule triggers customer uproar—here's why!

Surely you use bags? So when you fill one you remove it and put on the floor or anywhere else that takes your fancy! Common sense. You sound like you need a chill pill!

Statewide bank branch closure triggers outrage: 'This is an outrageous decision'

CBA is ridiculous. My son has had an account with them for decades, now they've decided he can't use internet banking without showing his ID at a branch. There is no branch within an hours car travel and he has no car. YES, CLOSE DOWN ALL YOUR BRANCHES. You might as well.

NBN proposes new speed options to revolutionise internet experience

Most companies get unlimited for around $80 per month, why are you paying so much? Dodo, iinet, etc... are pretty reliable and use the Optus network. I've used both with NO issues ever.
