Viruses knock Aussies off their feet for weeks! Learn how to avoid the same fate

It's really difficult when a friend or family member has an opposing point of view, especially if confrontation is something you don't seek out. One of my 3 adult sons has/had strong views on vaccinations after his pancreas failed to produce insulin. He was 4 years old when diagnosed with...

Viruses knock Aussies off their feet for weeks! Learn how to avoid the same fate

Mmmnnyeaahh, what can ya do. It is what it is. 5 will get you more shekels on the last. And I agree cobber, the message was there. Sometimes the velvet glove has a brick in it. Rhetorical question is, who has the brick. One can try help, understanding, empathy, wit and all manner of reach...

Viruses knock Aussies off their feet for weeks! Learn how to avoid the same fate

Truly awful. Pneumonia on top is really bad. My partner is always at risk of getting the added complication of Pneumonia. Thus why the added protection of N95 as well as vaccinations is critical for us.

Viruses knock Aussies off their feet for weeks! Learn how to avoid the same fate

I'd not heard of that sort of thing happening. I was working 7x7 at that stage and wasn't getting time to read a lot of current affairs. It seems like a good idea from the clinic. Appalling to be made to forgo on the basis of another groups mythology.

Viruses knock Aussies off their feet for weeks! Learn how to avoid the same fate

Indeed, it would be welcomed. Won't happen though. Past experiences or the strong embrace of a post/alternate-truth style of thinking denies those that succumb to it from admitting they have no evidence to support their thinking.

Viruses knock Aussies off their feet for weeks! Learn how to avoid the same fate

Thank you for that information. References are important and useful for those amongst us that look for facts and whom wish to gain more knowledge. That is not to say strong anecdotal stories are not important, because they are. It is possible people who oppose jabs have endured a bad experience...

Viruses knock Aussies off their feet for weeks! Learn how to avoid the same fate

The raising of the social responsibility aspect is an important one in my opinion. If considered, it does sit in the realms of different camps that people choose to pitch their tent in. If the health considerations of others, including family, are considered the decision lines within the realm...

Yes she is. I should have checked. But doesn't change the wrong Coles allowed to happen.

Shopper slams Coles after accusing her while at self-serve checkout: ‘I was embarrassed’

Thank you for saying the word influencer. It made me check out the name. It's probably not exactly ok for me to say I think those people are manipulators, rather than influencers. But that how I feel about them in general. So yes, thanks to you I now feel less generous towards her. The...

Shopper slams Coles after accusing her while at self-serve checkout: ‘I was embarrassed’

No assumption on my part at all5, just a general feeling that if one holds a strong belief in the value of being honest, then to be accused of theft is no small thing. Others can have their own set of values. We are all different.

From scam awareness to meta-scams: Fraud's growing complexity

Thank you. Excellent information. Yes the level of sophistication by mega business scammers is ramping up and so indeed must our awareness levels. They are tapping into the psychology of responses to certain scenarios. Means just go back to basics in all instances as you did. Don't act on...

Shopper slams Coles after accusing her while at self-serve checkout: ‘I was embarrassed’

Official Coles response... "Coles has issued an apology. ‘This is certainly not reflective of how our team usually interact with customers,’ a Coles spokesperson said." So the employee's actions were not in accordance with his employers wishes. Ergo he was not just doing his job. Feelings...

Shopper slams Coles after accusing her while at self-serve checkout: ‘I was embarrassed’

It is not a casual thing for one to be accused, in public, of stealing. The only ones who would treat it as a casual thing would be those who habitually steal.

Shopper slams Coles after accusing her while at self-serve checkout: ‘I was embarrassed’

How on earth has she stolen anything. She hadn't left the store. This lady is not your typical 15 mins fame social media goose. She had every right to be angry and let others know what she had just been put through. She did well to keep it down to the level she did. By the powers, if I was...

This controversial couple is spending their kids' inheritance on luxury vacations – find out why and if Boomers are entitled to splurge!

In a general sense, I think if I wish to leave funds for my children or if I wish to spend some, then that's my business, no one else's. I think it's a stupid saying that you are spending the kids inheritance. Nonsensical. Having said that, I will ensure my Grandchildren get the best start by...
