Lottery syndicate hits jackpot: Are you unknowingly sitting on $2.54 million fortune?

My husband does the same. He plays powerball, same numbers for years. He never checks till he goes in on the Friday and waits for his surprise lol. He’s had a few small wins but he promises the big one is not far away

State faces harrowing aftermath as fierce winds cause chaos

We were lucky as our power only went out for a short time, some only a few minutes away were out for much longer. The last night was the worse for damage but it was incredibly windy for days. Wildlife suffered with baby possums being blown from trees plus wombats and kangaroo also suffered...

Caught on camera: You won't believe what this pedestrian does in the parking lot – prepare to be outraged!

I knew someone who did this regularly and it didn’t sit well with me.

Scan and Go Trolleys Disaster at Woolworths: Why Furious Shoppers Are Demanding Discounts Now

I just can’t see how it saves time, especially with a big shop. I love technology but I‘m afraid I won’t be using these.

Slithering into summer: Heatwave sparks early snake season alert

I know it’s weird isn’t it. I actually said to someone recently if I was on the beach and there was a seagull close by and a shark in the water I would probably take my chances with the shark lol

Slithering into summer: Heatwave sparks early snake season alert

I’ve held them lots of times. One of my sons escaped one night and I was outside with a torch helping him look for it. My friends were like “are you insane??” lol

Woolworths shoppers slam car park behaviour showing '"I don't care" attitude'

I take mine back each time. I worry about it damaging someone’s car if I were to not put it away. It only takes a minute. Our local Coles is pretty good but. They usually have a nice man walking round collecting the trolleys saying “can I take that for you”

Shoppers freak out over weird detail in this $6 Kmart product: ‘Great marketing’

I bought a pack of three from TEMU and I just bought another pack. They work a treat in my broom cupboard

Face value: New technology changes checkout game, but can face privacy hurdles Down Under

I have face recognition on myGov and other stuff. The only time I’ve had a problem is when wearing glasses. But it works great and I’d be up for paying with it. If I use my iPhone to PayI have to use face recognition before I tap my phone so I guess I’m already using it lol

Slithering into summer: Heatwave sparks early snake season alert

Snakes don’t really bother me. My son has kept them for years. I know to give them a wide berth but they don’t fill me with fear. Now birds are a different story. They terrify me lol.

I just saw a pop up book “The night before Christmas” with lights and sounds advertised on Facebook For $53.00 + postage. I thought it would be great for my granddaughter’s Christmas Eve box. I looked on EBay and got it for $38 including postage. And I know I can trust EBay

Aussies demand social media take action against scam ads to protect users

There is a regular advertisement on face book claiming to be Sketcher shoes. Just by looking you can tell they are not sketchers. I have quite often put a comment saying that and still the ads are there. As I’ve said before, if I see something that interests me I will check it out on google and...

'How can they scam someone like that?': Mechanic calls out fellow professionals after customer feels scammed for two repairs

We’ve been pretty lucky since we moved here. Everyone we have employed to do jobs have been fantastic. They go above and beyond for a very reasonable price. It feels like everyone here just wants to help you. The very first thing we did was get a shed built. The guy came to measure up and my...

Aussie linen brand enters administration faces uncertain future

Don’t spend a lot on doona covers. I get bored with them. I did buy some Lorraine Lea sheets from a friends party probably about 30 years ago which were great quality but now I usually buy on line and if I get a year or two out of them I’m happy
