Shoppers notice disappointing changes on one ALDI fan favourite

They can put the cutter wherever they like, I will never buy this ever again. After losing two lots of cooking and baking because of the food sticking so badly I had to throw it away - closely followed by the remainder of the baking paper. The same brand of foil is a waste of money too.

ALDI brings back its luxury, award-winning Curated Collection starting at $4.99!

No grandkids till mid January this year but Christmas will be alive and well in our house. The house will be decorated inside and out, the cupboards full of festive fare and I’ll be baking like a trouper. I love Christmas.

The car hire place got in touch with them. Our friend said to them well you owe me money anyway so take the fine out of that. He’s not heard anything since lol.

Mother-of-the-bride's DIY dress goes viral: You won't believe what she did!

Maybe it looks better on. Not my style but the lady put a lot of work into it and if she feels comfortable and happy with it then good on her.

Frustrated with busy streets? Find out why Aussie locals are rebelling against parking meters and how it affects your next visit!

Some friends have just returned from a trip to the UK and they were shocked with the cost of parking. Everywhere they went they were hit with parking fees, they couldn’t find free parking anywhere. They even have parking fines to pay now they are back home. I think we’re pretty lucky here in...

    Thunderbirds

My dad ‘bought’ me a Lady Penelope doll which I treasured. I found out many years later he got it for free at the petrol station lol. Doesn’t matter, I got so much enjoyment from that toy. My mum used to make clothes for her. Eat your heart out Barbie, my Penny was way better dressed lol

'Americanising' Aussie Cafes? See How One Woman Exposed the Outrageous Trend Sweeping the Nation!

My husband has always wanted to go on cruise but I’m afraid it’s not for me. I feel like they are floating holiday camps. I don’t like planned activities. I must be a free spirit lol. As for tipping I don’t think you should feel obligated to. We did tip in Bali. Lovely people who get paid so...

Aussies caught in a scam trap as unqualified ‘locksmiths’ pick pockets instead of locks

We use the local trusted locksmith. They are so good. They recently fitted a deadlock for us and they made the keys for all our locks work with the same key - I didn’t know they could do that lol. I certainly wouldn’t be ringing some random just to try and save a Bob.

Aussies’ lives are endangered for making this habit while driving

The only time my phone comes out of my bag when I’m driving is if I need to use the maps (which is rarely). Then it sits in the cradle while it tells me the way and if I need to check where I’m going I pull over. I don’t answer my phone, even hands free. I wait till I stop. It’s just not worth...

Aussies may have to pay $322 fine after surge in this ‘annoying’ camping trend

I have friends who camp at places when they travel round the country in their caravan then they like to take a small tent and go walking to places that they can’t access with the van. They are usually gone for a couple of days. I hope they don’t cop a fine for that.

You won't believe this obscure road rule that could get you pulled over by the cops! Discover it now before you're the next one stopped!

Years ago when my son got his licence he was worried about when he could drive after having a few drinks the night before. I rang the local police station to ask how long the alcohol was likely to stay in his system. The officer said “does he feel ok?” I said he feels fine, she said “well if he...

I’ve always preferred Target over KMart. But I do shop at both

Senate starts inquiry towards Bunnings, IKEA and Petbarn after allegations of market power abuse

I try and support the little guy but things are expensive enough atm so why would I not go somewhere else and save $25? You have to grab bargains/discounts where you can.

Investigation reveals half of online Halloween purchases may endanger kids

I really don’t understand why people are so upset about Halloween. If you don’t want to take part in it then don’t. But don’t put people down who enjoy it. It’s a bit of fun for the kids, it’s not doing any harm. So please, just chill out

Investigation reveals half of online Halloween purchases may endanger kids

Where we live Halloween is a big thing. I was amazed at the number of kids trick or treating . I love seeing them in their costumes. I now decorate my house along with other neighbours and I’m registered as a house that the kids can call for treats in a designated time frame. It really is a lot...
