I agree with having the top sheet too. When I make my bed I do a fitted sheet...flat sheet....doona (not in a cover) and then the cover over the top. ( I too hate putting the doona back into the cover and this saves soooooo much time. When we were in Holland the bed was made with just a flat...

In our new build it came all hidden away in a cupboard with shelves and plug holes and everything and so so easy. and there's still some space left over for me to store some stuff as well!

Sheets only weekly??? I guess I make more work for myself....every three days here (weather permitting of course).....I LOVE clean sheets and sleep so much better
