Christmas has, in many ways, become an artificial, commercially driven construct anyway. So it seems quite appropriate for Artificial Intelligence to create these advertisements.

Perhaps netting is only used once the fruit has grown to a certain size? - after that, pollination has already happened and the netting just protects the ripening fruit.
Something similar happened to me! I was unable to take part in sport/PE because of an injury and prolonged physiotherapy, but I worked on an illustrated assignment on the history of cricket, and got an A+ for Physical Education. Hilarious, really.
