That’s what happens where I live. we used to be able to dump extra green waste for free but now theres a fee & then they sell it back to those that need compost or whatever its turned into.

My last house had a walk in pantry & over 30 years later I still miss it. ☹️

My husband had chest pain a few years ago & I took him to Launcestons general hospital with a note from an emergency GP & he was attended to immediately. Maybe it helped that the Dr. was from the A&E & was working for Home Doctors in his down time.

I love my FOGO bin but unfortunately down here in Launceston it’s only collected fortnightly. I’d love it to be every week. Our garbage bin goes out with very little actual rubbish in it & is collected weekly. Our council has a bit of catching up to do. Not everywhere in Tassie has FOGO BINS.

I disliked these in the 80’s and dislike them even more now. My late mum in law had a fancy, pink ceramic vase which I thought was ghastly so decided to off load it. My young neighbour saw it & absolutely loved it. It now has a prominent spot in her lounge. How people’s taste varies.

Especially in beautiful Kings Park which is one of my favourite places to visit when I’m in Perth.

My son lives in Perths zone A & he’s hoping the annoying gum tree on the nature strip outside his house catches the bugs. It’s a constant battle keeping up with leaf removal.
