Discover the stylish and affordable De'Longhi appliances on sale at ALDI this weekend

Found out that Aldi arrange a 'end of model/design' range and then sell them off as their Special Buys. These items were once available in stores. They are cheaper than what the store sales sell them for and the slow cooker could be an extra $40 off. Toaster & kettle could be extra $20 off...

‘Crazy’ change to Coles & Woolworths mud cakes leaves shoppers fuming

I agree with another in that you clearly do not bake or waste a lot of money in all the baking in meals and treats like cakes. Much cheaper to do your own and if using a cake mix just use half cake mix and then one egg, a little milk or oil if you use that. Place the open cake mix in fridge for...

‘Crazy’ change to Coles & Woolworths mud cakes leaves shoppers fuming

Bake your own cakes everyone. Even if single and living alone, just use half the cake mix and one egg. Some packets ask for one egg total mix which is unusual but I have used have packet and one egg anyway and then place the cake packet into the fridge and do a later cake bake. If three eggs...

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

If he is still alive then write to him but be prepared for the response as it may really upset you. If he left you then it means he did not love you. Sometimes the heart can be cruel to us.

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

One great-grandfather and two great-grandfathers, both on my mother's side. The first would be my great-grandfather (mum's grandfather) and ask why he 'lost the plot' and allowed himself to loose all the wealth which would be in the value of about $500 million or more today. His wife, our...

The rich are pouring millions into life extension research – but does it have any ethical value?

I knew someone, lost contact but yep this person is still alive. From 30's - 60's all this person could talk about is living past the age of 100. This person stated "I want to get a telegram from the queen.' When told that by the time they reached 100 Queen Elizabeth II would have truly passed...

Dame Edna Everage star faces unexpected complications after hip replacement surgery

A naturally talented funny entertainer and we are extremely lucky that he is an Australian. I hope he recovers soon. Unbelievable delivery ‘fail’ leaves Kmart customer speechless: ‘Have to laugh, or I’ll cry’

There will be a record of the person that packed this and I dare say that they will be dismissed. It's exactly like the checkout, the tax invoice receipt confirms the cash register and the employee's number on the receipt. The employee number will be different to their pay slip number.
