    Surely by just answering a call will not give you a virus or trojan. It is when you act upon something surely. I answer my phone with a backward motion as it is partly behind my chair when sitting. I cannot see the number this way. When I find it to be a possibl e scam I just hang up.

    There is no guarantee you will get a replacement phone. I contacted Telstra because I do not use my phone for internet and only need one for phone calls if I am out alone and something happens I am elderly but although I contacted Telstra I have not heard anymore .
