Yep! When free plastic bags were first phased out, I bought a set of those bins which has the plastic buckets with handles. No plastic bags needed - just empty house buckets into council bins and rinse out house buckets regularly. Putting food waste etc into the organic bin means neither rubbish...

Volunteering makes the world go round! I've done it all my life and it feels so much more satisfying than paid employment to me. There are so many organisations which are desperate for help and by doing as many as you can manage you create a wider circle of contacts too.

Having grown up on a farm we never wore shoes inside the house ..... but we often didn't wear them outside either 🤣 It was easier to wash our feet than to clean our boots/shoes constantly - and, no doubt this will horrify people who think humans should be always sterile; homogenised...

By association though, shoes are extremely unhygienic things also & many people walk in & out of their houses wearing germy shoes.
