I've always done this - unless it's starting to rain. Saves crumpled clothes and I get to stand out in the sunshine and fresh air for a bit longer. Win, win.
I have a wonderful collection of aerograms written to my grandmother from her sisters in England during WW2. Descriptions of the bombings , how they managed with food shortages etc.
An old lady who had a huge fig tree encouraged us to eat as many as we liked but told us to peel them as eating the skin would give us warts on our lips. :)
