Movies I loved going to the pictures on a Saturday afternoon with mates. They had a short film, usually a funny and then the major movie.. especially the horror ones. I would have nightmares for weeks after..

Mum, used to add a blue ball to make sheets whiter.. My job was to lift out the washing with a stick into the basin and push them through the ringer.. it was hard work.. 😓

I copped a double leather strap, 6 of the best.. for never doing homework for Mondays!! The teacher called it the ‘Thing’ and carried it under his coat on his shoulder.. Couldn’t pick up a pen for 2 hours… it was like a badge of honour to get it weekly.. 😊😊😊
