Home & Garden Free Water Testing @ Petstock*

Puzzled? My dog is a pet. He does not live in a water tank! So what is his health check going to reveal? Lol.

Australian Energy Regulator announces power bill change in several Australia states

Sorry everyone and I know this will not be very popular but I feel that I have to say it. I as a pensioner am very grateful for what I get from the State and Federal Governments. There seems to be so many who are excessively critical of anything that their statutory bodies supply for them and...

This Royal's portrait sparks citizens' outrage: 'You must be joking!'

Looks loke an early AI gone wrong.

ANZ app outage: Digital ‘cash-astrophe’ leaves Australians high and dry!

I don't rely on cards at all and if the individual or corporation will not accept cash in payment then to hell with them. I did read with interest that ANZ had said that it "was not our Fault". That is always the excuse when a system belonging to a large corporation "goes down" that it is...

Government decision hits Chemist Warehouse's prescription policy

There is a lot going on in the medical world. My GP wanted me to have a blood test and gave me a referral 10 days ago. I went for the test last Thursday and registered in with the clinic that I had been going to for a number of years. My tests were always free as I am a diabetic pensioner. I sat...

This analysis reveals the most vulnerable four-digit codes. Is yours on the list?

No not the dreaded symbol, just extend the pin by 2 digits so we can just add 99 to the end of our current pin, oh yikes, NOOOO! Lol.

Macquarie Bank clients have a few days left to adapt to major 'digital only' overhaul

It;s simply a cost savings plan, they want to reduce their overheads (no staff to pay or buildings to maintain) which ultimately reduces their running costs which increases their already swelling profit margins. Simple really but if you are a customer it's positively inconvenient to say the least.

Woolworths comes under fire for new security measure: ‘Pretty sneaky’

Oh yes, so I can have fun with this. Get out the Inspector Cluso (think I spelt it correctly) gear and go shopping, see what sort of reaction that brings. Actually all supermarket chains employ professional shoppers who are not known to anyone in the store. The object of the exercise is to test...

Social media crackdown looms in one Aussie state—here's what you need to know

Well, for what it's worth, when was the last time anyone sat down with their children to have an open conversation. Children of all ages are smart and are just waiting to be able to talk with their parents about the many questions they would have about life. Anything from why do dogs bark to...

Cancer survivor hits with outrageous $15,000 water bill: ‘We can't get any common sense’

Wondering what we could invoice local councils for condition of roads and footpaths etc. That would become a screaming match from councils I reckon.

Health officials encourage vaccinations ahead of looming flu season

Might be interesting to see the actual numbers as the percentage does not mean anything without them.

Health officials encourage vaccinations ahead of looming flu season

I was told by my very skilled GP that you should leave 2 weeks between any vaccinations so hat may have been your issue.

Health officials encourage vaccinations ahead of looming flu season

I on the other hand used to suffer massively from the flu year after year and then when I turned 65 my GP suggested a flu shot. I am now 72 and have not had the flu since, I cannot praise the vaccination system enough, By the way I am also a diabetic.

Is your seafood safe? Shocking sewage leak threatens Albert River ecosystem and your health!

Just an observation, all the sewage treatment plants around the country are very close to major rivers. Understanding the nature of sewage and the need for water I am still somewhat curious as to why this is?

Are supermarket giants tricking you with misleading labels? Find out how!

They do however pay tax on the profit of that can of beans. The whole thing is in fact a can of beans!

Grandma faces shocking threat from Domino's owner over $12 pizza

It depends on who's side you take on this one. The pizza in the box certainly looked like a combination of different pizzas which could have been the result of the customer combining left over pizzas into the box with the aim of obtaining some form of compensation which the store owner may have...
