A pity there was no official announcement in the Forum. I did see it was won in the Newsletter but I thought an official response from whoever organised it would be the thing to do..

Bought an electonic kit a few years ago but hated it after playing acoustic all those years. Sold it, my spinal injuries got...

    Slender Green Orbweaver (Araneus talipedatus)

I'm still wary of some of the bigger ones but my favourites are Jumping Spiders. They are the most plentiful species there is. Also, the only spider that hunts during daylight hours. They are quite small and seem quite sociable and will jump onto your hand and wander around..

Slender Green Orbweaver (Araneus talipedatus) Just sitting in the garden yesterday hoping the wind would calm down and something of interest would come along to photograph. Saw a slight movement on one of our plants and when I looked closer, this is what I found. The cutest little spider...

    Red Wattlebird

Thank you Sethia...not a real pro...I was asked to go pro a few times but after many years working as a mechanical engineer, I'm just happy doing my own "thing". The nearest I get to pro work these days is doing photography for the Museum and the restoration of the "City Of Adelaide" clipper...
