Prepare your wallets: Here are several changes in the new financial year

I and many others are in the same boat - the government relies on the fact that you will just keep on your caring role. We are in our early seventies and often the carer is not very fit either. I worry about the future and how we will cope if either of us gets worse.

    Horse and cart delivery

When I was a child in England the Milko had a beautiful horse and cart and the horse knew the route so well that he moved up at a slow pace so the milko never had to backtrack. When the company changed to vans it was never the same.

    Tablecloths in the ‘70s

The tablecloths are easy to wash, no ironing and usually in bright colours. I have one in blue, green, red and yellow with pictures of fruit on it. My little granddaughter loves it!

    Hand wringer

I remember Mum having one of these in England when I was little and I helped her by cranking the handle as she guided the items through. I don't know how many times though a shirt button became a casualty and either broke or came off the shirt! Mum did a lot of sewing repairs!

    Mr Ed

I loved Mr Ed especially when Wilbur was trying to get out of tricky situations because he was the only one who could actually talk to Ed. There was one episode when Ed fell in love and all the difficulties of equine romance were very funny.

'I felt empty': Primary school bans grandparents from entering classrooms

If this was a requirement then surely it should have been organised long before the grandparents day. How disappointing for the kids and the grandparents.
