I love it! I put left over spag bog into home made pies and they are delicious. Another one that people probably would argue over is spag bog pizza. Way back in the 90's there was a pizzeria in St Kilda in Melbourne that did spaghetti pizzas and they were delicious!
Hiya - just re the coleslaw mix, is that with or without the mayonnaise? I don't think I've seen coleslaw anywhere that wasn't already mixed in. I love the look of this recipe and don't want to muck it up. Thanks
I used to dumpster dive with my niece when she would visit - she would get in as I would get stuck if I did - and I would hold the step ladder and bags. So much great food just being thrown out. Now ALDI locks their bins in a cage, and coles and woolies lock theirs, so all that perfectly good...
I work in an emergency call centre, and I can tell you that acoustic shock is a life changing experience. I haven't had it but have worked with those who have and they have not been able to keep working there.
Dumpster diving used to be a thing, so that people could utilise the huge amount of products that are sent to landfill. Now they lock up the dumpsters, so people are now forced to steal food in order to survive. Surely the middle ground is to work with groups that can use what supermarkets are...
Maybe if they didn't lock up the dumpters out the back of each supermarket so that no-one can dumptster dive anymore, there wouldn't now be this problem.
It's not rocket science. If you scan something, the pad where your bag sits looks for the weight of the item. If you can't put it there ask for assistance from the store person, or press the 'not bagged' button.
