Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) from Wall Street said that as well. Thatcher must have learnt it from Gekko. Look where it gets people!!!

From millionaire dreams to nightmare: 71-year-old man loses $400,000 to cunning scam

WTF, has this guy been living under a rock? I'd say 90% of FB ads are scams. Especially the investment ones.

That's a huge Chemist outlay. Is that a once off?

Landlord’s 'ridiculous' request leaves renter in disbelief: ‘Not your responsibility’

Why not ask him for a five year fixed price lease at a 25 percent reduced rental rate in exchange. I'm sure a win - win could come out of such a request (in the tenants favor).

Imported health products pose health risks—Here's what you need to know

Another gullible consumer sucked in by a medical system run by big pharma. Good luck with your kidneys and liver while sucking down those great "discrete chemical compounds". What a joke. Oh, wait a minute, no problems, once your kidneys and liver start to deteriorate from the "discrete chemical...

Woman uses this strategy to slash her power bills to less than $80 per month

That's quite true. Solar panels degrade over time and batteries have a finite life. If the true cost of depreciation of the system is taken into account, it's a very different story.

CommBank and Vodafone joins forces to protect you from SMS scams!

WTF is the matter with people? Why are they still falling for this crap. Hasn't every person in Australia been warned multiple times? That's a lot of money that's been lost.

Experts reveal the dangers of high vitamin dosages

WOW, are you serious? L.P. was considered one of the most prominent scientists of the last century. You are way off the mark with those comments. Just read his books and you'll soon see what detailed research he did, along with M.R. Believe what you like, but the evidence is there if you take...

Experts reveal the dangers of high vitamin dosages

Yes statins are really bad news. All the evidence is out there, yet, as you say, the supposed experts just keep prescribing them. Malcolm Kendrick has written several books relating to statins, cholesterol and heart disease. He really exposes some of these clinical trials and the way the data is...

Experts reveal the dangers of high vitamin dosages

I don't believe a word of it. If you're interested in the association between heart disease and large amounts of vitamin c intake, read anything by Linus Pauling or Matthias Rath. The former is a two times Nobel prize winner and he has done extensive research in this area. I'm currently reading...

Are you getting your ‘free’ products from Coles? Find out about this secret ‘loophole’ before it’s gone!

Another similar dishonest trend is where people sign up for a free trial of a home delivery meal service with the full intention of cancelling the service once the "free" meal has been delivered. One of our neighbors brags about doing this. I find it pretty offensive and somewhat of a low life act.

Safety concerns prompt popular dog food, Ford unit recalls

This is the whole problem with the pet food industry here in Australia. It's unregulated. They can put any type of crap in it and there's no comeback. Self regulated they say. What a load of rubbish. Not like the US where it comes under FDA regs.

I heard that some new estates are being developed without the gas infrastructure, and guess what happens next? With electricity being the only player in town having the monopoly on energy, where do you think the prices will be going? Hint:- It won't be down!!!!

I'd like to take a closer look at this report. My first impression is that it's highly biased and I'd question who it was funded by. Yes I'm skeptical.

Your pain relief choices could be doing your body more harm than good!

Double blind, randomized clinical trials? I think not. Read about the placebo effect before making any purchase like this.
